The room had some issue that I raised after the first night and they didn’t address it and I raised it twice more and upon checkout admitted that they don’t know why they didn’t address the issues right away. I travelled often and I make specific requests about the preferences of the room . Most hotels never care about it even though they write you a common reply that a computer would send as auto reply saying there is no guarantee of the request but they will try. Kimpton Charlotte Hotel did exactly what I asked for and not only that, the front officer knew about it and specifically mentioned they did go all out to make the preparations as I wanted . Extremely helpful staff and excellent service . It was a short stay . I would definitely stay there if I ever go to Edinburgh again

Arrived at the hotel and took advantage of the valet parking which was quick and easy - my bags were even taken straight to my room. The in room amenities and extras were excellent. The pool was quiet and I even had it to myself the morning of my stay. I dined in Baba which was delicious. The only small negative I encountered was that my room was above the restaurant so it was a little noisy. The location is excellent for exploring both the Old Town and New Town of Edinburgh.

This is a fabulous hotel. A great central location. Staff were super helpful & good sense of humour with it. I was upgraded and able to check in early too. Absolutely wonderful - with great room snacks too ;-)

The room was spotless, and staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to go above and beyond in helping make it the best stay possible. Out concierge Remi was amazing with incredible food recommendations and fizz on arrival to every restaurant they booked on our behalf. The spa was excellent. We also had espresso martinis in our room waiting for us as it's my partners favourite drink
