The hotel overall was excellent. It is good value for money and is in a good location not too far from the centre. The breakfast was very good too and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing that we would comment on is that because the rooms don't have opening windows, they are airless. I know this can't be changed, but that is the only negative thing. Would definitely stay here again if we visit Edinburgh.

Good sized room which was very clean and comfortable . white bedding with no stains. Good size mirror. iron and ironing board in room. Bathroom was a good size and had body wash, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and hand-wash. Towels are of a good size and were soft and white . Free buffet breakfast which was hot you could make your own waffles. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again. Parking was an issue.

Reception girls were quite tired to serve. Maybe a bit more smile woulndt harm anybody. Burgha girl was very friendly but arguing slightly a bit with other small girl. Customers shouldnt hear employees complaining, maybe Burgha doesnt belong to customer service either.

This hotel is still new. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and everything still looks new. The location is good, quiet. We specially liked the fact that you can catch 2 buses on the front of the hotel which took you to and from the city centre. These buses (1 and 34) run frequently and it only takes around 10 mins to get to the centre. There is also a lovely pub/restaurant a few minutes walk from the hotel (The Fountain) where we had amazing food!! In front of this pub is a small cinema complex where you can find other chain restaurants like Pizza Hut, Five Guys, etc. The hotel itself has a Lebanese Street Food restaurant too. The hotel breakfast was good too! All in all a very good hotel!

They don’t have laundry facilities as indicated on Expedia, they only have a very expensive dry cleaning service. Even when we checked in the front desk staff told us that the laundry service is included in the price since they don’t have laundry on site, as indicated on Expedia. I ended up walking 1.2 miles one way to the Laundry Kafe and did our laundry there for 23 pounds ( washing and drying)! Other than that the breakfast was only ok at best, the breakfast had very few choices and it was all really bland. The coffee machine was rather messy too, lots of milk and coffee spilled all of the time. The hotel is very quiet and very clean. The restaurant in the hotel offered some good choices for dinner.

Suitable for a couple of nights.

Rooms were adequate for 1 night. Booked a family room which was a standard room with a camp bed put in the only available space. No room for cases or much clothes storage. Water is not provided in rooms which is poor, especially given the exorbitantly high price we paid for the standard of hotel. Supply and demand as Edinburgh was super busy and hotels really bump up their prices accordingly. Beds and pillows were comfortable and room was clean. Food wise, only had breakfast. The hotel was very busy and the breakfasting area is not big enough and badly laid out. Had to eat off a coffee table in the bar / reception area.
