4 season cozy retreat w/ Wood Burning Stove. Family/pet-friendly. Close to lake

New cottage with all the amenities of home, but nature is right out the door. Wood burning stove, skiing and ice fishing in the winter, beaches all around in the summer.
We’ve stocked our cottage with all the conveniences including high-speed wireless internet. 3 sizeable bedrooms sleep 6 along with 1 full and 1 half bathrooms.
The screened-in porch is a haven to enjoy a drink after activities during the day, or just to relax with a book.
In the fall and winter the wood-burning stove makes the whole cottage warm and cozy.
You’re still connected if you want to be: super fast wifi and a 55 inch 4K TV with many streaming services for movie night.
If you’re looking for quality family time we’ve got many board games. Or choose some reading from our book shelf.
The neighbourhood is something really special: cute and quiet, the cottage is a couple of minutes walk from Lake Winnipeg. There’s beaches all around and only a 10 minute drive from the boardwalk at Winnipeg Beach and a 20 minute drive to Gimli for shopping, dining and festivals.
There’s so much to do year round!

We loved our time here. It was the perfect place to have time away from the hustle and bustle with my friends from America. This is our third “retreat“ together in Manitoba and this was by far the best. We will definitely stay here againOne of my friends is allergic to cats, we did not realize this was a cat friendly cottage as well as dog friendly (I took my doggie). She had absolutely no issues with her allergies. I think that speaks to the care that Howard and Amanda put into their property.As you may notice in other reviews of this lovely little cottage, the screened sunroom is a huge highlight. It is well appointed with comfy chairs and patio furniture, along with a large dining table to take advantage of.The kitchen is stocked with pretty much anything you would need, including a ninja blender for smoothies! It was an enjoyable experience to cook together there.Everything about this cottage suggests peaceful relaxation. We highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the cottage. Our favourite place was the screened in porch which allowed us to enjoy bug-free time outside for eating and reading. We brought our large dog and he loved it too. He slept in the dog bed provided even though he was too large. My husband took the kayak out on the lake and had a great time. I would definitely stay here again.

Second time staying at this house and it still has everything we need. I like the additional furniture in the gazebo and how the main bedroom was freshened up. Overall, excellent place to stay. Hosts are nice to deal with. Will sure be back again!

Perfect Getaway Spot!

We had an excellent stay at this perfect spot! The cabin was clean and well stocked. The sunroom is absolutely amazing and we spent a majority of our time relaxing in it! Quiet area, but lots to do a short walk or drive away! Would definitely return!

Great modern cabin!

Beautiful cottage and location. Everything you need. Responsive owners. We had a great time! Only complaint is in the sunroom I could always hear powerlines(?) nearby. Lots of buzz/hum. Not from cabin itself. Would stay again. Thank you!

Awesome Mini Vacation

The place was spotless and a included everything you would need to enjoy your stay. Close to Winnipeg Beach and the boat launch. 14 km to Gimli. Great and helpful hosts and would definitely stay here again.
