It was a nightmare. I visited Winnipeg with my 14 year old son. So many bush people in the hotel. I felt harassed everytime with my son coz the bush people where outside either begging for drugs or cigerates. It was the worst experience I ever had and these people will do something stupid to set the firealarm on. We had 3 firealarms in 1 week. One was at midnight, second at 05:45 AM and the 3rd at 05:00PM. I won't advice anyone to go through what I saw and went through. Very bad and dangerous.

Great hotel with friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms. I enjoyed the executive floor a lot, though the room service I ordered did not arrive and we were told to use the buffet. The hot tub looked very nice but was unfortunately not working for the entire duration of our stay. Other than those things I would eeccomend it to someone!

Average stay

Rooms are dated but clean. Otherwise the stay was average and not up to the standard of other Hilton hotels: * The pull out couch was not comfortable. * The executive lounge had hot and cold beverages but unfortunately no breakfast items until 7am which is quite late. * We had a connecting room and unfortunately it was noisy. Our neighbour was not loud but the connecting doors are not sound-proofed. We could hear their entire conversation and also their movie playing at 4am. * There was a walkway through the parking lot but it is also where they put the smoking section so if we didn't want to squeeze between cars with suitcases we had to walk around or walk through smokers. They should move the smoking area.

The hotel needs a major upgrade (rooms especially) a more welcoming restaurant (it looked completely dead, wasn’t sure it was open) It should be inviting & the guests should want to eat there as it’s right in the hotel. Deep cleaning the rooms is a major must, pulling out the tv stands, mini fridge, and actually cleaning behind there will eliminate a lot of future problems. i would not stay here again, as a Hilton Honors - I expected a bit more.

This Hilton experience was terrible. In all fairness the hotel was accomodating people who homes were affected by forest fire. That being the case, amenties like the pool were dirty , elvators had spit in the corners and were consistently dirty, to make it worst there was a roach in our room . This was a horrible experience for my family. This hotelbwas not worth the 250.00 a night.... It was a motel experience!
