Awesome service, food, and lodging our entire 4 day stay. Will definitely stay again.

Staff was very attentive, and the the ambiance was excellent.

Excellent location on the edge of Downtown... Easy walking distance to MTS Center, museums, etc. Nicest place I know of in Winnipeg, fully up to Fairmont standards.

We had a wonderful experience at the Fairmont Hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Friendly Manitoba? Our room had a great view of the river and was quiet and very comfortable. The hotel had a great location close to restaurants and event venues. We walked to every place we wanted to go within minutes. We had a fantastic dinner at the hotel the first night. The workout room and pool had a great view and were clean and well maintained. I wish I would have had time to take the fitness walk near the river, there are maps of several routes in the lobby.

We paid additional pay to stay at the Gold Club floor and don't regret it. Hotel is old, but on our floor we had great service and club lounge, great breakfasts and concierge service. The only problem, in the room we could not properly control air-conditioning system (or off- or full speed blow), had to cover it with pillows. Both got little cold after stay.

Fantastic hotel and accommodations, service and food excellent

This was the second time staying with the Fairmont. Bot imes I tink the food was substandard encluding the 19th floor food available.

Visited on a quick business trip of 2 days. Mmost things in winnipeg shut down very early, so if you arrive late be prepared to manage most things on your own. Only the check in counter has staff. the overall hotel is nice, it has good food, very comfortable beds, spacious room. It said business ready room, I felt it like a regular room. The furniture and carpets, and bathroom configuration all seems old and outdated. Location is unbeatable, right in downtown, when weather permits, in walking distance of everything. Quite frankly expected much more from the description and expectations set by the internet site. It didnt feel particularly luxurious in any way. For the rate, you would expect something completely different. Certainly renovated.

Very comfortable - wedding reception we were there for was at the hotel beautiful party and great service

Hotel was nice and clean, nice staff and very quiet. Elevators are vey fast, limited restaurant choice but 1st rate food. Only bad thing were small tv's in the rooms

Hotel is ideally located downtown, and has very friendly staff. The biggest drawbacks were stale smelling hallways and dirty rooms. Our room had multiple large stains on the carpet and the bathroom mirrors were filthy (even after trying to wipe them off).

The Fairmont is in an excellent downtown location. The service is impeccable...very attentive, especially compaired to many US hotels. Our lower floor room needed new carpeting and perhaps a bathroom floor update, but the small touches the room provided more than made up for it. Beware of the parking charges! We loved our stay.

we enjoyed our stay at Fairmont

The hotel was very clean and very, very nice. I rate the staff as superior in their helpfulness. I would have liked a coffee shop in the hotel. The underground area had many coffee shop type restaurants but none were open on the weekend. The room was not large but it was very comfortable. The Forks and the Manitoba Museum were close.

Clean, Frenidly, great location, overall it was a great stay would defintly stay with them again.

Thanks for the great review, Nancy. We've recently added the package with the ballet and I'm so pleased you enjoyed it. I'm also pleased to note that you were able to try both our hotel restaurant, the VG, and some excellent local dining. I look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
