I actually really liked this hotel. It wasn't fancy, it was clean and a bit dated. The Tavern in the hotel is amazing and had the best french fries I've ever had, plus it felt like a throw back in time - loved the vibe. I felt safe inside the hotel, the lounge/casino in the hotel was a bit questionable and there was some shady people outside at times. Woudn't leave anything in my vehicle there or go walking at night/evening. Daytime it was fine. Neighbourhood across the street was clean and well-maintained, not sure about behind the hotel. I would 100% stay here again with our hockey team - pool was fun for them and was very close to the rink and service was great!

Got a suite which I didn’t expect took it regardless my grandkids ended up not coming with us. The suite has 2 bedrooms one and two beds. A tv in each plus living area. Plenty of room. The other adult my hubby got asked for ID after all these years this was a first time. Unsure if it was because of new staff? It’s usually me the guest that booked and pays shows ID. The toilet bowl is newer than in the other rooms I’ve stayed in at this hotel; nice change. They should change them all.
