Disappointed
I would not stay here again.High end furniture in nicely doctored pictures but what you actually get is an apartment that has a distinct smell the minute you walk in the door. It smells like a wet dank basement. The owners have air fresheners and an hvac that runs a fan runs constantly but you still smell it. BTW, this is a 1st floor unit not a basement unit. Clearly a moisture issue. We found out the hard way when sewage leaked from the bathroom above our unit into ours. Floors uneven and walls/ ceilings with multiple rounds of paint on them. We couldn’t open the silverware drawer more than a few inches because other drawer knob’s blocking it. Janky glass tables falling apart and coffee maker broken - took almost three weeks to repair/ replace after numerous complaints. Bathtub area is “mini” not full ceiling height with no lighting. Probably why none are pictured on the ad. Not to mention the pool and courtyard under construction for weeks and nothing was mentioned in the ad when we booked. I asked for our money back for nights after the water leaked when we moved out early and had to get a hotel last minute. I also expected some type of refund for the pool not being open which was a major amenity on our spring break. We would not have rented a place without a pool. NOTHING from the owner, who isn’t an individual owner by the way, but rather a for profit small business. The owner said they would offer a reimbursement but have not so far even though VRBO has contacted.
