Spent 16 days working from this apartment. Knew the first night I wanted to relocate. Called the owners the first morning expecting a penalty for early check out… no refunds. My rating decision is below, but at check out the owners requested a list of repairs and supply needs. Hopefully there is improvement for the next renters. 1st star for location - close to two main roads with shopping and dining. 2nd star for apt set up - two full bathrooms, black out curtains, and access to Netflix and Prime were helpful.can't give 5 stars because of cockroaches. A can of Raid is kept under the kitchen sink. can't give 4 stars because of dirtiness.Apt was set up as shown in the photos but floor and counters were sticky and dirty. Owners provided the requested mop, bucket and broom. I bought other cleaning items and cleaned myself. Swept up lots of sand, people hair, dog hair, food, and small items. can't give 3 stars because of frustration. The apt could have been exterminated on our 4th day if the owner's had contacted maintenance. I crossed paths with a maintenance man the second week - he got us scheduled on day 11. We picked this apt because of the kitchen and pool. Kitchen bug activity and poor supplies didn't leave us inclined to cook. Pool was iffy - changing from blue to green and sludgy, back to blue. Even the residents didn't use it. Neighbor's dog barked 8 hours nearly every day and night.

This is our second time staying in this apartment.It is close to shopping and groceries, clean, comfortable and family friendly. Having a garage to keep the car out of Corpus sun is a great perk. It is on the second floor and overlooks the pool.We come to visit our young grandchildren and they love the well maintained pool. The management is responsive and even found a lost watch in the parking lot and contacted us before we missed it.
