It was close to a wide variety of restaurants and other businesses. Because of covid-19, I choose to wipe surfaces in room with disinfectant wipes upon entering. I found most surfaces to be dusty and not very well cleaned. There was bits of cereal in the desk chair.

The elevator smelled like mold. The room smelled gross and the bathroom in our room DIDNT shut. I didn’t stay here. Got no refund and they couldn’t get me another room.

Breakfast was mediocre, with most offerings overcooked and cold.

Two things that did not meet my expectations. 1. The hair dryer did not work. 2. Shower did not drain. Not very relaxing to take a shower after a long day of travels.

Staff were friendly, room was clean, and free breakfast was provided

In small ways, updating are needed such as worn carpet.

The ladies that served breakfast were the kindest, most pleasant, workers i have ever encountered at a hotel. The front desk staff was always will to help. Definitely would go back!!

The first room we checked into 208, the a/c wasn't working and the toilet wouldn't flush. So they oved us to 319, in that room there were fleas on the beds & in the carpet. Then when we went to chrck out, we grabbed the plastic clothing bags to put our wet suits in and there was poop on them, freaking poop! The manager has yet to contact us back!!!

Great staff! Good breakfast, nice indoor pool. We really liked it!

Clean hotel, staff very friendly. Need extra blankets.

Best month stay & our first time!! Friendly staff, helpful & kind. Since we come to CC frequently, we definitely will stay here every time. Breakfast comes with the room, our grandchildren swim & hotel close to shopping. Thanks for a great stay!!

Was not aware of deposit prior to arrival however no other concerns.

The front desk staff was by far the rudest I have ever encountered in all my years of traveling. During our stay, my husband became trapped in the hotel elevator. The emergency call button didn't work- so thankfully my husband had his cell phone and was able to call me. I called the front desk staff and notified them of the situation. I was told "ok" and hung up on. After 10 minutes, I called again for an update as no one had called the room back to let us know anything and was told that maintenance was working on it. After 20 minutes in the elevator, I called again and was told the fire department was called. After 30 minutes in the elevator, I went downstairs with our kids to find out the fire department was not there (10 minutes after they "said" they called) and was told they called and "left a message and were waiting on a return phone call." I called 911 and there was no record of the hotel calling for emergency services. Once the fire department arrived, the responding firefighter asked it hotel maintenance had tried to pry the doors open- and was told no. It ended up being an hour stuck in the elevator by the time he was released. Front desk staff at NO point seemed concerned about the situation- or offered us any updates or communication. Hotel staff seemed more concerned about making sure other guests didn't know what was happening and keeping the elevator operational. No concern for their hotel guest was shown.

I arrived 7-10 around 4:30. Overall it was an OK stay. But as I was trying to unlock my door a screaming match broke out behind me. I never knew ,women used such profanity. It turned out it was 2 housekeeping employees, with carts, having a screaming match. If the younger one had a weapon she might have killed both of us. It was so disturbing that I returned to the desk and asked for a refund, and another hotel. The woman at the front desk apologized and offered me a room upgrade. It was a much better room, but I kept thinking that the screamer had a pass key to enter my room. But I had no more problems. Over all it was OK, and I might stay there again, but more likely will try out another hotel. It's too bad that one bad employee can tarnisr a business.

We did not want the room to be cleaned every day but on the third day although the "do not disturb" door tag was removed, the room was not cleaned. I complained to the front desk and the receptionist brought us two clean towels... and did not even apologize.

Very nice but there was a man snoring ugly and felt he was in my room

Good value for price (< $100/ night). Location is good. Close to retail and restaurants. Also not far from USS Lexington and Port Arkansas. Free cookies and coffee. Breakfast and Internet included. Only negative is not much choice for breakfast.

The breakfast was amazing! Like a buffet. The staff was really friendly! The room was comfortable. My only complaint is that the pillows were small and flat, but because I took a sleeping pill, I slept either way. I'd probably go back to stay another night if I'm ever in corpus

Thank you for writing a review. We are saddened to hear about the issue you had regarding the cleanliness of the elevator specially the room and that the bathroom door might not be on its best state at that time. Certainly, this is not the type of experience we would like our guests to have. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and will be forwarded to the hotel management to ensure that situations like this won't happen again. We hope for another opportunity to make a more favorable impression in the future.
