The hotel in general and our room specifically was nasty. The room reeked of the smell of cigarette and marijuana use even though it was a non-smoking facility. The smoke smell aggravated both mine and one of me daughter’s asthma. We spent $100 on air fresheners and diffusers and had to sleep with all of the windows open. The toilets would not flush if you put toilet paper in them and the area felt very unsafe. On the first night there, a large argument which sometimes turned physical broke out in the parking lot right outside of our window with very vulgar language being screamed at each other, car doors slamming repeatedly and people pushing, swinging at and physically restraining other people. Law enforcement was never called by management even though they were aware and the parties were never asked to leave. This went on from 1:30 am to 3:45 am preventing snyine in our room from sleeping and my daughters had an 8:00 tournament game the next morning. The room was so dirty that we would have slept in the car if the neighborhood hadn’t have felt so unsafe. Every hotel in the area was full so we couldn’t change hotels.
