Every aspect of my booking & stay was convenient & seamless; from the reasonable price, online reservation process, host communication, beautiful grounds, to the abundant amenities offered there was nothing I or my family wanted for. Don & Kim are accommodating, professional & experienced hosts and it showed. Thank you for the wonderful experience I recommend their multiple spaces to anyone & would stay with them again without hesitation!

Hosts are easy to communicate with and very nice. The pool barn is not part of the package. You will be able to swim and use the hot tub, however. We enjoyed the hot tub after a day of hiking! Cute town with interesting places to visit.

The hot tub was the main reason I chose this property over others and it was not disclosed that the jets were not working until we arrived.we were told they are on order. Who wants to just sit in a hot community bath with no jets? We casually overlooked that but the smell of sewer that filled the RV got worse every time we flushed the toilet. At first we just thought it was because it’s probably been closed up for months. We thought it would dissipate but was so bad we left at 230am and drove around the area for an hour to find a decent hotel room. This was such a disappointment for my birthday get away! I texted the owner 10 hours ago when we left and got no response! Strongly recommend NOT staying in this RV. And no response from the owner???…

Great location

This rental is right by Indiana Dunes and in a nice neighborhood. Main bed was comfortable and we slept well. The shower needs repaired. There was not a cloth to wash dishes with. The skillet in the cabinet still had food in it. We did walk around the block to get Uno Pizza which is in a speakeasy setting. Nice place. It was early for swimming but we did take a dip. Don let us stay late to enjoy the sun. The pool is well cared for. Overall a good rental.

First time camper users!

The host was wonderful and the property was well kept! We didn’t love Porter, but the proximity to the dunes, restaurants and the property itself brought location and neighborhood up to a 4! That was my first time staying in a camper so I was a little thrown off by the movement through the night. Obviously no fault of the camper, just putting that out there for anyone else who may also be a first timer! I also want to suggest planning your day strategically to be out and about or in the pool midday if it’s a really hot day because the camper has a hard time fighting the extreme heat. Overall, we had a great stay and I would recommend this listing. We used the beautiful pool daily, the host was very responsive and staying in a camper was a fun little adventure for us and our two littles.
