Located just a few blocks from downtown Cedar City, Southern Utah University, and the Utah Shakespeare Festival, you'll be perfectly situated for festivals, sporting events, college visits, and business trips. The Basement Basecamp is the private basement apartment of a historic home. You'll have your own private entrance and no shared interior living spaces, but there is a separate vacation rental above.

Because the home has original hardwood floors, you may occasionally hear footsteps or everyday household sounds from the upstairs guests. Most guests find the occasional sounds to be minimal, but we want to set clear expectations so there are no surprises.

One of the best features of a basement apartment is that it stays naturally cooler than the upstairs, providing a comfortable, refreshing night's sleep even during Cedar City's warm summer months. If you prefer a warmer room, we've provided space heaters for your comfort.

As with many historic homes, ceilings and some doorways are lower than modern construction, with approximately 6 feet of clearance in a few areas. The kitchen, bathroom, and living room are compact but thoughtfully designed and fully equipped to make the most of the space.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and space to spread out with 2 bedrooms and a dining area. Guests can expect to find free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, an electric kettle, and an ironing board.

This is a cozy little place. It was very clean. The location was so very convenient! The price couldn't have been better. Tina was a great help with an issue we had. We are hoping we will get to stay there again.

This location was perfect. The property seems well maintained. I had to dogs that I planned on bringing with me, and the owners were more than willing to work with me on that, as they do have a limit to 1 dog. Tina was prompt in responding to me. I would definitely plan on renting from her again.
