The front desk people were wonderful and super attentive to making sure everything was OK. They even checked on me right after check-in via phone to make sure the room was alright. I found it super quiet, the bed was comfortable, and was grateful for the mini fridge and desk space.

the manager was very unprofessional. He left an employee that was still training all by herself to sign me up and take my credit card information. She didn't know what she was doing (not her fault) and thought that something had been declined. I get upset and try to explain that the credit card is valid and figure out how to proceed. The manager very unhelpfully comes over to explain to his employee the situation but, not me. So I'm upset thinking my card has been declined and that I won't be receiving my room that I'd already payed for. He explains the policy of how orbitz works without ever letting me know the problem is on their end not mine. Over all very unprofessional, it made me feel like their was confrontation when there shouldn't have been any.

I would recommend this hotel to my friends or family.

Checked in a room without AC and didn’t get another room until10 pm

The GM thinks he's an important person LOL & was a complete jerk. The walls are paper thin & gap under motel room door is at least 1/2 inch...you can hear EVERYTHING, including staff talking, & the front desk phone ringing. ALL NIGHT LONG! Then it starts again around 8am, when you can hear the staff talking about their duties for the day. If I wanted to be in their meeting, they should pay me. Then there are their ridiculous policies: You cannot have a visitor come to your room between 10pm to 7am. What the heck??? I'm 49 yrs old & was in town to bury my mother. Of course I will be having family & friends come to visit me. I rented the room and these morons are going to tell me I cannot have family or friends visit me in MY ROOM? Their reasoning was "noise control", which is absolutely laughable considering the staff made more noise than any of the guests. Last, when I asked for a Do Not Disturb sign, so maids would know not to knock on my door in the morning (since I was cleaning out my dead mother's apartment until after midnight each day) they said they do not have DND signs as a policy and they "reserve the right to make contact with guests at any time." Huh??? So, you can just come in the room I rented whenever you feel like it? I checked out & stayed at Ramada across the street. I told them Cedar City Motel 6's policies & they were shocked. Ramada has DND signs and your friend & family are welcome to visit you in YOUR ROOM! Dont stay a this Motel 6, no matter what!

Very good value. Friendly staff. Great place to stop off while traveling. Lower prices than St. George

Better than I expected from a motel 6. Clean, quiet and safe. I’d stay here again

This is a ok motel for passing by, we went on a road trip and just used this motel for a place to sleep for one night. I would NOT like to stay there two nights. Hotel staff were rude and the "non smoking" room smelled of stale cigarettes.

A lot of the motel 6 have a coffee maker, frig and microwave. I was disappointed there was no coffee maker.

Overall, for the price, a good deal with a fairly clean room. Just a little strange that no coffee was in the rooms or lobby.

Hello Frank Ormonde. Thanks for trying to hide behind Anonymous. Eventually you will back off, but maybe not. This is your second review on here. This is a different story than you originally complained about. You were not into your room after midnight each night. the first night you called and asked for us to allow someone to your room at 10:30 pm, not after midnight as well as your "friend" coming to see you as well before 5 AM that same morning, which was still during our no visitor hours. I will now post your first response as for all to see. Thank you for the business and have a wonderful day. FIRST RESPOSE. Read their policies carefully. I cannot believe they have so many restrictions on guests. They do not have DO NOT DISYURB signs, so maid wakes you up around 9am. They say you cannot have a visitor between 10pm and 7am. What the heck is that about? So, if you are visiting friends and they want to come see you, you have to stand in the parking lot. I kid you not, that is their stated policy. They claim it is to reduce noise, but these walls are so thin and tthe gaps under doors so wide, you can here them talking at the front desk. Besides, if you are loud, then that is when they can say something. To tell me, a 50 year old man, that I can't have a friend come to the room I paid for, therefore am renting and have rights to...that's asinine. Never again! Ramada across the street is where I will stay from tomorrow morning and any future visits. This will give the general public a chance to decide on their own if this is legit or you just trying to cause issues because you were asked to follow policies that you agreed upon at check in. Policies should not be an issue for a retired military vet right? Should have had policies to follow your entire career. Thank you.
