This location is convenient for specific locations. The staff are helpful and the little cafe is good enough although overpriced. There are very few food options nearby. The heating/cooling is at times unpredictable. The beds are comfy. Good showers. Love the walking bath around the bay.

the radiator leaked but emily was great and gave me some money back on my food bill. There was a fire drill which sucked! not sure what that was about!
There was a long line when checking in but the gentleman working the front desk was calm, proficient, friendly and professional and kept everything moving right along. Since we were traveling with a baby he quickly accommodated my request for a quieter room (top floor end unit, far from the elevator) and even upgraded us to a suite so we would have more space. We only stayed one night since we got it to be close to the airport for an early flight, but we were impressed with the room, which was clean, updated in a modern style and nicely appointed with large screen TVs in both rooms, microwave and fridge. I would definitely stay here again! Great staff! Free airport shuttle runs on the hour from 5am to 9pm.

My bathroom was dirty, visible dirt in bathtub. People were loud in the hallways. I was charged for parking when I had prepaid for parking. Normally I have a good experience but this past week was not good.
Hotel interior was well-kept. Staff was friendly. Disappointed that there were not enough cookies to give my kids (Thought that was the biggest perk of picking Doubletree) when checking in. Poor water pressure in room so toilet had to be plunged often. Not enough pillows on two double beds for 4 people. Parking lot was confusing as we had to park at a University building next door. Did not feel like it was worth the money paid staying there.
We actually stayed here twice in one week. The staff and the shuttle bus driver Joel were so nice and helpful we felt comfortable about coming back the second time. The property and rooms were very clean. We only had one issue and the maintenance man had it taken care of in less than 15 minutes! We enjoyed our stay and it made our 1st trip to Boston a successful one.
Everything about this hotel was great EXCEPT the price was extremely high. There are more affordable alternatives.
