I’m glad you asked. If there was a rating lower than terrible we would have chosen it. We live in Western CT, a two and a half plus hour drive to Gillette Stadium. I reserved a room months ago to stay in on May 4th after an AC/ DC concert at Gillette Stadium.
We arrived there at 4:00 PM to check in and there was a line of twenty to thirty people waiting outside to check in as the people waiting wouldn’t fit in the lobby. We waited for an hour plus, and the line didn’t move.
No employee ever came out to explain what the problem was or apologize. One person in line told us that he had checked in two hours ago and they still didn’t have a room ready for him. We were not able to check in so we left, and ended up driving an hour plus to Sturbridge after the concert and got a hotel there after 2:00 AM.
I had better not be charged for the room, if I do I will dispute the charge with my credit card company.
This was completely unacceptable, and you had a long line of irate customers that were in the same situation as us. After many years of business and pleasure traveling, I have never experienced anything like this, even in much, much cheaper economy motels. You ruined a fun evening we had planned months in advance.
If this was my business the Manager would be fired on the spot, and heads would roll.
