The owners have clearly spent money on renovating the rooms, nice new comfortable mattress and new furniture and fittings. I can’t fault the cleanliness of the place and the staff were nice. Sadly however, this was a rest stop on a long drive. The whole purpose was to sleep. This didn’t happen. The whole night long people were revving loud car engines in the parking lot. Loud music, screaming and shouting, smoking drugs and drinking. This appears to be a boy racers hang out. Police arrived twice in the early hours and then the noise continued. I think I managed about 3 hours sleep the whole night. The motel is just off the Interstate so that also adds to the noise. The place is clean and the staff are nice, but the noise here is on a whole new level of disturbing which really spoiled my stay. Bring earplugs!!!

Clerk tried to take photo of my credit card. Room was filthy with smoke alarm chirping all night. Room smelled like ass, pubes on toilet seat. Wet disposed mattress rotting in the parking lot. This place is a shady dump.

There were roaches in the room, the Internet kept dropping out, there were only 7 channels on the tv, the cold water knob was missing in the tub, one stop of the non slip runner in the tub was coming up, the beds were hard as a block of wood. We stayed only because it was just for one night and my grandson had an appointment at children's of Alabama early the next morning.

I came to attend The Magic City Classic. I had stay here in 2023. I liked the area with quick access to downtown, the interstate, gas, food. The room was clean with the comforts of a refrigerator and microwave. I have no complaints about the noise or questionable guests. Overall it was very pleasant.

Hotel was under renovation. Room smelled paint and spackle. Air conditioner was pretty beat up. It didn’t really work that well. Bathtub still had a sticker in it. No chair. TV didn’t work. Rough Neighborhood. Mattress had plastic on it underneath the sheets. I could go on…
