The space
This large, private, two-bedroom upper apartment is spacious, bright and clean. The house was built in 1900 so please expect some of the charming patina that comes with age. The house is complete with an eat-in kitchen, private back deck, living room, two bedrooms, and one full bath with a claw foot tub and shower combo.
Guest access
For your convenience, guests will be provided with a lock box code for keys to access the shared front door and private second-floor apartment. Please don't worry about arriving late for your stay!
Other things to note
When booking please register the correct number of guests for all parties. No social gatherings or parties. This apartment is a unit in a two-family (duplex). Please be aware that we may have guests residing in the other unit as well. Thank you!

Unresponsive host

House is old and not well-kept, beds are hobbit-sized, bathtub is dangerous and curtain is terribly installed. We’ve had several problems (like A/C not running during summer), and the kitchen is definitely not for cooking as is lacks appliances and infrastructure, and don’t even get me started on how greasy that kitchen was. We’d put our cereal box on top of the fridge and it’d ended up stuck there, very disgusting! It’s mostly a college-dorm-kind-of-stay, definitely not intended for full grownups. The stairs up to the house are a hazard. The neighbor/maintenance guy was friendly but couldn’t solve most of the problems. But those things could all have been overlooked if the host was responsive and helpful, but no. A text would take 2-3 days to be responded to, and sometimes she wouldn’t even care to respond. From when the reservation was confirmed till check-in time I’d have to be begging for info and I thought for a second I would be homeless and try to find myself another house in the last minute. Very stressful situation. At the end of our long stay we forgot some stuff in the fridge and I texted asking if I could come back to pick them up, to no avail. She read the message 1-2 after and never bothered to answer. So if the house is not ok and if the host’s behavior is definitely not ok, I can’t, in my right mind, recommend this stay.
