This place is pretty run down. It was a friends night. No hot tub. Cut out holes in the walls... 5 channels if you’re lucky, carpets are nasty. Ewwww. Rude staff. Not even worth the $100 we paid. Won’t stay again.
Staff was slow to respond. She was more interested in talking to a friend on the phone than recognizing that we were standing at the desk. Carpet was stained and crummy looking. This is just a tired old facility and not up to Choice Hotel's standards.
Stayed here one night while traveling. Very clean, great beds, good wifi, nice pool and hot tub, typical breakfast which was kept fresh by staff. Would definitely stay here again. Has a fitness room and W/D in the hall. Was just what we needed after a long drive.
Amazing, clean hotel. Heated pool was great. Jacuzzi was being serviced/not open. Nice fitness center, washer and dryer too. Room was super clean, it appeared the carpets were just recently shampooed (still damp to the barefoot) Beds were comfty, room was spacious. Only complaint was bathroom was small, could barely shut the door without struggling in the tiny space. A/C wasn't working for some reason, but JACK at the front desk let us borrow a tower fan (which worked wonders!) I don't know if it was Jack's magic, but shortly after borrowing the fan our compressor finally kicked on for A/C. Nice full hot breakfast. Waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, oatmeal, muffins, toast...oj...coffee Very very nice staff, would definately return! **Check out the Road Dog for meals (walkable from thehotel) Also, the Shell gas station for all kinds of neat things!
I liked the hotel and the staff was very helpful. I have stayed at rhe hotel few times in the past and has always had a good experience during my stay. I noticed that they have upgraded their hotel room furniture, lighting, and art work. It really looks nice, they maintain the place very well and by no means it's perfect but it's a great location and a very nice place
Clean rooms, pool area and breakfast area. Beds are comfortable. Hot tub was heavenly, but a tad too hot. Still relaxing. The staff was pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. Location is perfect with restaurants within walking distance. An overall good stay.
We had been driving during the ground pounding rain the upper Midwest states received the last week of April 2017. We stopped our trip because there was no driving visibility and traffic was moving so slowly that we stopped by Beloit WI, Quality Inn. I am sorry I did not get the gentleman's name (he has two small children) who checked us in, but he was great! We asked for a quiet room to get some sleep before heading out again the next morning. We got what we asked for, on the second floor! Thank you!! I recommend this Quality Inn and will stay again if we find ourselves in the area.
This was the worst hotel I have stayed at in over two years. It was booked in a group block for a youth sports team. We got in around 11 pm. I had the kids shower and when they pulled back the covers, there was hair. I told my kid to get in the other bed and it was the same. I called the front desk and was informed that I could get new sheets, but there was no one available to change them. At almost midnight with an 8am game, I informed him I wasn't changing anything and we would sleep on top of the sheets. I inquired about monetary compensation and he informed me that he would leave his manager a note. The next morning I stopped to make sure the manager had gotten the message and his response to me was that I had gotten a group rate. I asked him if the group rate meant I was supposed to get dirty sheets and subpar service. The manager was quite irritated with me, but stated he would contact his manager. When we got back to the hotel at 2pm, I again stopped to see if he had spoken to his manager. He replied that it was already taken care of (as though I should already know this) and that there would be a 15% discount. There was a 15% discount reflected in the final bill on Sunday, but I am just waiting to see if the correct amount posts. In short, this hotel was filthy, small, and over-priced.
Worst hotel we have stayed in. We used our points and it was such a waste. Stayed here because of my dad's funeral and would never come back. The only reason for the 1 star was the guest services were friendly and polite. Other than that no positive to this hotel. Smelled funny in the hallways and rooms. They had hazardous furniture around the stairs and there is no elevators to get to the second floor. The beds were comfortable but the rooms had a lot of issues. Very tiny bathrooms and patch spots throughout the walls. The carpet was coming up so we had to make sure we didnt trip. The breakfast was TERRIBLE even the kids around us complained. Non of the fruit was ripe and the apple juice was the nasty I have ever tried. I dumped mine out while the kid across from us spit his out!
My son ALWAYS come here just to get away with our dog(s) and we have never ever had any problems, breakfast is always good, coffee is always on and I have no problem asking for more in my room. The pool is nice and warm and so relaxing. The people working there are always very nice and accommendating and will do anything to make your stay better for you.
