Ironworks Hotel

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Probably the best hotel in Beloit. Nice rooms. Very clean. Friendly staff.

Recent remodel has given the place a brand-new, stylish feel. Note that hotel no longer offers rooms with separated bedrooms, as the old Beloit hotel did. The restaurant food and service was great. Exercise room was not fancy, but perfectly serviceable. Great choice for people who don't like cookie-cutter hotels. Minor downside was that it seemed over-air-conditioned; we were freezing in the restaurant in midsummer.

We had a great time. The hotel was so different from all the others around. We had a view of the river which was so relaxing. The view of the buildings across the river so unique. We had plans to leave the room and grab something to eat but the room was so beautiful we never left.

This is an awesomely located, locally-owned hotel in a relatively newly renovated building. The decor is very *grand* and, although my stay was only one night, everything was great!

We have stayed in most of the other Beloit hotels but once we stayed at The Beloit Inn - now called The Ironworks Hotel - we never want to stay anywhere else. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, they got us checked in early which was very important because we were attending a funeral and needed to get ready. The lounge and restaurant are classy but comfortable, and the rooms are amazing! We always choose the King suite which includes a wet bar, fridge, stovetop, microwave, double sided fireplace, flat screens in both the living and bed rooms, and Aveda products for use in the shower and whirlpool tub in the bedroom. The nostalgic ironworks and wood aesthetics throughout the hotel pay homage to Beloit's core industry of metal casting foundry workers. The historical photos everywhere are amazing!

We were looking for something close to Rockford, IL, and this fit the bill. Our girls looved the room, and felt that it was very fancy. They had fun playing in the jacuzzi, even though there was no pool. It was very clean and comfortable. The mattress was very comfortable, and I slept very well. The staff were pleasant and helpful. It has a nice little sitting area right on the river too. I would highly recommend The Beloit Inn.

Overall, the Beloit inn lives up to tradition. The breakfast could be a lot better but otherwise this is a good place to stay in Beloit. It is under construction at the moment but this did not detract from the stay.

This is an uncomparable find in the Beloit, WI area! A convenient location near Beloit College and downtown, scenically set on the Rock River. Steakhouse with extensive menu attached. Our king suite was beautiful, nice furniture, clean, fully stocked with ala carte snacks & alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages, and high end toiletries. Double walk-in shower, bedroom includes large whirlpool bathtub, and cozy double-sided gas fireplace can be enjoyed from bedroom and sitting room. Sitting room has table w/2 chairs, comfortable overstuffed chair, couch with pullout bed, sink, wetbar, small fridge, dishes, and large closet. Hot breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cereals, bakery, spreads, juices, milk, coffee. Staff was very pleasant and professional - definitely our first choice in the Beloit area!

Staff is very helpful and friendly. Room was perfectly clean, made up, and comfortable.

good complementary things and fair price. They are so rudes at the check out time maybe thats the only bad thing

The room was clean and very large. The river walk just outside the back door, the downtown area steps away. Nice hotel for a long weekend away. I would stay there again, and will.
