“Stark” is the word that comes to mind. There was one person at the check-in desk. There were no Bellman or anyone to help with our luggage. No one to meet us from the taxi. The bar was not tended. The room was very large with tiled floors and seemed very clean. The bathroom was very nice with a great shower and an incredible soaking tub. The sink area was large. The bed was a mattress on what seemed to be a wire frame underneath. The duvet was not in a cover. Just a quilted white comforter. I was not sure if it had been laundered and so I turned it so that the top sheet covering the duvet was actually next to my skin. It served for a one night stay, but I would not want to be there more than an overnight, I was looking for a luxury five star, and this is not what I expect.

The staff was amazingly helpful and kind. The hotel had a great location, walkable everywhere, food was delicious the hotel staff made excellent recommendations. Rooms were nice, breakfast was wonderful would absolutely recommend to other travelers.

Overall stay was very good. Very close to many things and easy access to transportation. On the downside, staff at the lobby aren’t very friendly, and the only bar that works is at the rooftop that it’s small and very busy.
