A great stay in a wonderful & well appointed room! We had a sitting area in the eyebrow dormer (cable box was a little wonky here) and a balcony to enjoy our morning coffee & evening wine. Continental breakfast was a good jump start. Location was prime and walkable to Bar Harbor center with many yummy eateries, brewery, shopping, grocery store. Short drive to multiple entrances to Acadian National Park. Suggest having rental camp chairs for enjoying scenery at so many surrounding sites. Parking can be a little tricky in the evening at the property, but otherwise a fabulous trip!

Cute room and the Inn is walkable to everything in Bar Harbor. Quiet street but close to restaurants. Breakfast was local pastries, coffee, yea and juice. Would stay there again.

The Inn is in a great location in Bar Harbor and is convenient to everything downtown. Once you park, you do not have to move your car unless you leave town. Everything is within a short walk. The staff was absolutely fabulous. Garfield, Danielle and Nick were all great and made us feel right at home. This was our first trip to Maine and we definitely want to come back and stay here again. Such a great time.

The inn is convient to town. The room was clean. Housekeeping was great. Staff was so so, or indifferent to our concern or well being. The continental breakfast, just bad.

The property and room was beautiful, close to town and all the fun!! The only thing I was a little disappointed about was the breakfast, for a bed and breakfast I was expecting something a little more extravagant.... but it was a really nice place to stay, and if we go there again I would definitely stay again!

Reality vs pictures online

The pictures online definitely do not reflect what you get. Our room smelled moldy. The hotel itself needs some updating desperately. The hall carpets are filthy. We had a hole in the sheet. We had a hole and tearing on the towels. The staff barely acknowledged you when you past the front desk. They were too busy listening on their headphones or looking at their phones. The cleaning staff would clean the room yet leave all the dirty glasses ( so we would bring downstairs). It’s a shame as the hotel is in a good location for walking about. I was very disappointed with the hotel especially based on all the good reviews. Also the chocolates they leave in the room as a treat are 10 months old as you can see from the pictures they are Hanukkah candy.

Started off being welcomed with champagne. Nice touch! Staff and room were excellent. Convenient to everything and maybe 10 min. Walk into the harbor and shops. Plus bike rentals 100yards away. The only thing that we could think of was the breakfast options. Hard boiled eggs and maybe more fresh fruit would be nice. Other than that excellent and if we return will stay there again.

So initially this place seemed great, you get greeted with a glass of prosecco and walked to your room. But once in the room we had issues, theres controllers for things that dont work. No directions on how to use the gas fireplace in the room or the jet tub in the bathroom. We had to ask for help the next day since theres noone at the desk overnight. Also no blackout curtains in the bedroom only shades so we didnt feel like he had privacy, especially since one of the staff doors was right next to two of our windows that faced the bed. And also a light was shining in the room all night and sun as soon as it came up so made it very difficult to sleep. The mattress was also very worn down, im only 140lbs but when sitting on the mattress my ass went right down to the box spring. Also there was only one trash can in the room… in the bathroom. Housekeeping came in while we were out for the day, idk what they did but the room smelt very strong of bleach and the bed was made but the full trash was still there and not emptied. they also took our towels we had hing up including the hand towel and didnt replace any of them so we had to ask for more towels, very half assed housekeeping process there. Continental breakfast was ok, stale bagels both days, cereal, greek yogurt and muffins. Not enough to fuel a day full of hiking and exploring. Some of the window locks in the room were broken which was also concerning.

Close to downtown. Staff was very polite. You can hear everyone as they walk by and snoring in the next room over BUT they had sound machines that helped drown out the noise.
