Amazing property!

The house was gorgeous, very comfortable and welcoming common areas and had amazing furnishings the covered patio, sun deck by the lake and the dock on the lake made for a great experience all around. The hosts responded to us very quickly and made the check-in / check out process very easy! Definitely going to book again!

Quiet family week at the lake

Wonderful week with our family of 6 at the lake. Plenty to do for 2 adults and 4 kids ranging in age from 3 to 13. House was well equipped with fishing gear, basketballs, etc. Lovely view and very comfortable.

Outdoor spaces are exceptional. Inside very nice, too. Clean, well-stocked with paper products, etc. plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware. Owner is responsive and pleasant. Rural, though you can see and hear neighbors, and about 15 minutes from two towns. (Tony, sharpen your knives and get a new grill. )

Birthday celebration weekend

Everything was exactly as advertised. The house is very well appointed and extremely comfortable. Communication with Tony was seamless and very easy.The views are incredible and it made for a wonderful weekend with family. There are plenty of dishes, glasses, and cooking paraphernalia to dine in comfortably. The trip to Skaneateles and Auburn are 15 minutes away. I would highly recommend this house.

Relaxing lake getaway

We had a lovely stay during Easter Week with our family. It was a quick 40 minute trip to visit our oldest at Syracuse University and gave her a relaxing break from school. The house was pristine, checkin and communication with To y was seamless. The house felt like home away from home. The views of the lake were gorgeous- we caught some stunning sunsets! My son was able to fish off the dock and all of us had our own comfy room. We enjoyed an afternoon in Skaneateles and To y’s recommendation for food and things to do were spot on. We would love to return in the summer or fall.

We had stayed here last October with family and it worked out well for us. This trip also was good as we had get togethers with extended family in Auburn and Skaneateles.Beds were comfortable, spacious kitchen and dining area; great views of the lake.

Celebrating 60

The finger lakes are our families favorite place to visit, so when deciding how to celebrate my 60th birthday, the decision was easy. I have rented the house in the past and it is one of my favorite homes to stay in. It is comfortable, clean and is in the perfect location! Looking forward to returning!

Columbus Day Weekend 2024

Family get together. Property just as listed. Clean, comfortable beds, well stocked. Great information provided about use / how to use property. Awesome sunsets. We were able to see Northern Lights this weekend, despite some cloud cover. Great property, great weekend!

Wonderful home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this home. Prior to our stay the property manager, Tony, quickly responded to my questions. He was great when we were there, too, and wanted to extend our stay for a few days. The house is beautiful, with everything we needed. By far, it was the best stocked house we’ve stayed in. Everything we needed was there. I was somewhat concerned about the stairs to the beach, but there are benches at each level, if one needs a bit of a rest. I highly recommend choosing this home. We hope to return sometime.

Great Lake house!

Diamond Goddess Trip

Wonderful property with a ton of extra touches, extremely well stocked, we needed for nothing! Can we just say THE TOWELS! Very luxurious, the view was outstanding! Enjoy spending time on the water and in the kayaks, great property highly recommend😊

Beautiful Home

This home was perfect for our week-long stay. There’s plenty of outdoor space (both in and out of the sun) and seating. Furnishings are nice and the home was extremely clean. The kitchen works well for large groups. We would absolutely rent this home again.

Finger Lakes Fiesta

Very nice house. Well appointed. Awning covered deck was our favorite spot. Great sunsets. Lake is great for swimming and floating. Close to golf, boat rentals, and of course Tom Thumb ice cream.

We lived the dream at Sunset Beach Lake House

This was our families fifth summer renting on Owasco Lake. Our first time at the Sunset Beach lake home. We took full advantage of all this beautiful home had to offer. Coffee morning views on the upper deck, paddling, floating, swimming, fishing & playing on the beach front most of the day then family dinners on the covered deck and ending our day with a fire and s’mores. The beds were comfortable and the decor inside exactly as pictured on the website. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with accessories; leave your beach towels at home! We hoped to return in 2025 but July was already booked. We’ll try earlier next year!

Beyond Amazing!!!

I was trying to think of a word to describe our stay here last week and amazing just doesn’t cover it. The house is gorgeous inside and out and we had such a wonderful time that we barely left the property! The location is perfect with beautiful sunsets and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. In the description, it gives you a short list of things you should bring and they weren’t kidding! Everything and more is provided! I greatly appreciated that there was just one step into the home for my elderly mother as well as a first floor bedroom for her. The owners were great and answered any questions we had with fast communication. We are already looking at when we can come back to visit. This house is an absolute dream!

WONDERFUL.

I've stayed at a number of VRBO's. And many of those were lake houses. This property has to be one of the best. The house is fantastic, The location is fantastic, the deck and dock are fantastic. Tony is very accommodating and very good at communicating. Everything you could possibly need is located in the house or in the garage for your use. Paddleboards, kayaks, life jackets, additional chairs, etc. The outside living space / dining room was a great place to share dinner and breakfast. The awning over the rear deck made the space usable at all times. We will be back.

Great family spot

We had a wonderful family get together. Even on a rainy day, there were plenty of spaces to accommodate a variety of activities for both adults and toddlers. Our local hosts, Tony and Joette, went out of their way to make this a memorable stay. We appreciated the cleanliness of the place and the quality of the beds, towels, and appliances. This was our second stay and we look forward to our third!

Beautiful Cottage, Excellent Hosts

My siblings rented four cottages on Lake Owasco for a nephew's wedding and family reunion, and by all accounts this was the best house. Gathering areas inside and out were spacious, modern and comfortable, all with great views. I loved the various places to sit outside, shaded and sunny, but sipping wine at the end of the dock while watching the sunset was simply the best! Special kudos to our hosts: In addition to excellent communication generally, they accommodated a family member with allergies by providing fragrance-free linens and towels, and even stocked special soaps for our use. I also appreciated the artistic touches throughout the home and the lovely welcome basket. Our hosts clearly care about the home and the happiness of their guests. Thank you Tony & Joette!

Russ family Relax, Relate and Release

Getting the family to slow down and take a break this was the perfect getaway. The lake was beautiful. The accommodations were clean the house provided everything we needed for a beautiful say I would recommend this anytime. We took our three children with their spouses and children. something fun for everyone.
