Most staff at desk wete rude. It's been 6 days and still do not have my deposit back. We were only in the room to sleep from 1030pm to 7am...left the room spotless. The breakfast was nothing to speak of either. Will never stay at another La Quinta again.

Check-in was smooth and hassle free. Room was decent, not one of the rooms from remodel pictures, but still fine. I will say if you like a very hard or stiff bed, your in luck. The beds were like sheets on a piece of plywood. I did see one dead roach in hallway and one small roach in lobby area, but non in my room. The room was clean and it had individual room a/c and heat control. The staff was mostly courteous and welcoming. A few of the morning lobby and breakfast staff were sour and grumpy. The free hot breakfast consisted of waffles, scrambled (guessing powdered) eggs, sausage, envelopes of grits/oat meal/cream of wheat and toast/bagel. The rest was all cold cereal, yogurt and a fruit (apples one day and bananas the next). I probably would have given a 3 and half star, but that's not an option.
