Host was welcoming, attentive, and flexible. Even though it was a downstairs apartment we felt like we were in our own world. The amenities offered were great. The goats were a fun surprise. I would return in a heart beat.

The check-in process was incredibly simple once explained by the host. The kitchen had several items that we had forgotten or didn't even think about, so that was a plus. The beds were incredibly soft and welcoming. They were even easy to strip, which was a part of the simple check-out process.

Our Host, John, was very responsive prior to our arrival and once we were on site. Check-in was simple & smooth. Our accomodations were Excellent. Very Clean (even my wife was impressed) And Very comfortable. Bath towels were Luxurious as was the Bed and many layers of blankets as it was a bit chilly during our stay. John was Great and our stay was really First Rate. I will stay here again & again when in Asheville. Thank You John for such a positive experience.

The Hideaway in Asheville was clean, comfortable, cozy & convenient to the downtown area. Well stocked kitchen, bath amenities and a very comfortable bed! Easy check in and checkout! We will most certainly stay here again!

This place was super clean and very cozy! My husband and I spent time here for our Ashville visit, and the communication with John was easy and detailed. They left a sweet message of welcome for us in the kitchen, and they had many details such as a fan and space heater in the bedroom in case they are needed. Would definitely recommend for a nice quiet stay!

John and Donna’s Hideaway is clean, spacious, and very close to all things in Asheville. The bed and couch were very comfortable and there were many extras included….coffee, tea, shampoo, soap,etc. They do all they can to make sure your stay is comfortable. We would surely stay there again when returning to Asheville.

Nice, quiet neighborhood. Very cute, convenient, walk-out basement unit. 2 full bedrooms. Not suitable for families with young children because of the electric fencing and steep slopes.

We love to come to this homestead. So comfortable and cozy.. It is in walking distance to downtown Asheville! So much to see and do and this property is close to everything! We love seeing the goats. The host are very nice.

My Aunt and I loved staying here. The apartment was so comfortable and I wanted to bring the sofa home with me. It WAS so comfortable. The home was close to everything we wanted to visit during our stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Very easy to check in. Quiet neighborhood near downtown Asheville. Only stayed one night, but it worked for us. It is a 2 bedroom 1 bath apt with a large couch in living area. Host lives upstairs and want to ensure you have a good stay.

Exceeded Expectations

What a great property. So close to all of the goings on downtown but in a small neighborhood, so quiet and peaceful. Probably the cleanest property I have ever visited -- sparkling clean! Super comfortable beds and large and well equipped kitchen and nice living area. Great owners, very responsive for the single question we had. Definitely will return if I visit Asheville again. Highly recommended.

Fantastic location in Ashville and very nice spacious house, very well equipped and comfortable. Walk to dining, close to groceries, close to Biltmore, easy access to highways when driving somewhere remote to hike. If you go up the hill in the neighbirhood, there are good views of Ashville and the mountains. The house had everything, even an ice pack in the freezer to keep our lunch cool in the cat when we were going hikng. The owners live on site which I quite liked - good to have them readily available if needed (though we ended uo not needing their help). At the same time it is a saparate entrance, so we never stumbled into them and it all felt very private. Perfect accommodations. Thank you so much!
