The hotel appearance wise was very modern and matching decor. Very nice in that aspect.
The layout of the hotel was a little strange and I expected more from a Radisson property.
For one, my room was on the 6th floor but in order to access the 6th floor rooms from the lobby you have to either take the elevator to floor 0 which is just the next floor up from the lobby or simply take the stairs up to the 0 floor.
Then you walk down the hallway to the second set of elevators which is at the end of the hallway on floor 0 around the corner.
It was the oddest layout I’ve ever seen at a hotel especially at this caliber.
Once I got to the room, the room was very well laid out with furniture and amenities.
The bathroom was very nice but for the life of me I don’t understand why hotels, especially large chain hotels like Radisson who cater to clientele in a diverse city like Zürich refuse to have wash clothes in their bedrooms. Even if certain guest don’t use it, their are those of use that do. I was very disappointed in that lack of a simple amenity. I shouldn’t have to ask, nor did I.
Another issue was that the rooms don’t come with individual temperature controls. The hotel sets the temp for all rooms.
My stay included as an add on, the breakfast buffet.
It’s definitely overpriced and the layout is beyond ridiculous. It’s spreaout throughout the restaurant.
Definitely not worth the price and terribly underwhelming.
