Nice rooms .. comfortable bed ..pillows not so much. Bar tender was excellent man ! Good area , close to airport with restaurants around. Cleaning staff very loud , could hear them from above and from other rooms. Good price

The hotel itself was pleasing and some staff were very helpful and knowledgeable while others acted like it was their first day on the job and they knew nothing about the area. My family spent almost $80 CHF to look for some place to eat when ended with us on the street at the back of the hotel at a greek restaurant. The employee who checked us in claimed there were no restaurant near the hotel. More over the hotel resturant claimed they could not accommodate a family of 6 people after 8pm. VERY DISAPPOINTING

Have been traveling for a month and this was the worst check in we had. I think the staff at the front desk have the belief that it was our privilege to stay at this property. There was one person ahead of us and one person at the check in. As I lined up she said to me, “please go sit down and when I am ready I will call you.” Sat there for about 10 more minutes and I was then “blessed” to be checked in. The first thing she said without any greeting or anything was, “This is a non smoking hotel.” I said it doesn’t matter as I don’t smoke. With this she said, “well how am I to know that”. I thought wow….here we go. At completion of check in she said if we wanted to check in now as it was 1230 it would be 30 CHF. She had already assigned our room as it was written in the key holder jacket. I asked if our room was ready and she said yes but would be 30. This is nothing but a cash grab. In our month of travelling we checked in early half the time and never were charged. This was 2.5 hours early than check in. I said that we would leave our bags. Then I wheeled my bags to the end of the counter. There were now four staff members there and none of them were with guess. Totally ignored for two minutes until I said, can I get some service” instead of apologizing they tried turning it on me for being impatient. They need some training in verbal judo. Worse service ever at a check in from a traveler to more than 50 countries. Rooms were great though ….just expect rudeness.

This was handy for the airport. We just took the local bus from the airport bus station when we arrived and again in the morning back to the airport. It is just a few metres to the hotel from the bus stop. It’s literally 3 bus stops. the hotel is lovely and we have nothing to moan about at apart from some noisy guests in the corridor.

We needed a hotel close to airport due to early international flight. The Leonardo was perfect. Friendly staff, wonderful rooms, and bus stop to airport right across the street. We would definitely stay there again!

Comfortable, stylish and welcoming hotel in an excellent location for Zürich airport and travelling into the city. Cosy, warm ambience in the reception and throughout the bar and dining areas, although very quiet and seemingly underused by guests during the evening. Maybe due to flight schedules or, more than likely, because the rooms were really very comfortable, quiet and tasteful. I put the mini fridge to use and ate in the room when arriving back late. In reception, there is a 'grab and go' selection of snacks, drinks and toiletry essentials which can be paid for later. Staff were friendly and helpful, particularly those at breakfast times. Nothing was a problem or too much to ask. The buffet selection at breakfast offered good variety, decent coffee and a calm, relaxing space. Location wise, it was perfect for me: bus stop to airport just across the road ( apparently the airport is also walkable, about 20 mins) and local station, Kloten, for trains into Zürich an easy 10 minute walk away. The immediate area had several restaurants, bars and a very useful Aldi Suisse. Overall, the Leonardo Zürich Airport hotel is a great choice for many reasons mentioned above, plus the room rates were very reasonable for this level of comfort. I would definitely choose to stay here again when I next visit.

So close to airport and so quiet!

This hotel deserves the high rating it's getting. It's super clean and nice decor but I was amazed at how quiet it was. We opened the window and realized just how loud the planes were but once we closed them, absolutely no noise! It was the best night sleep we had on vacation! The hotel front desk was super friendly - we chatted about her upcoming trip. We didn't eat the breakfast.
