"The Hotel Riu Palace Baja California was excellent in every respect. The staff was extremely professional, friendly and attentive. The facilities were immaculate and I was particularly impressed with the pools and restaurant options. The infinity pool overlooking the beach and majestic rock formations with spirited professional entertainment and delicious food options at the buffet and formal dining made my trip. I highly recommend this resort and please be generous with gratuities because this staff deserve it. As a hospitality manager I know the work, planning and training that goes into an operation like this and Riu Palace is outstanding in their customer service to their guests. The resort is located just a 15-minute trip to the marina for boat trips and other excursions. I went mid-week in late July which meant the resort was lively but not oppressively so with the pools be shared by only a few early risers for quiet relaxation time. The party starts in the afternoon with the swim up bar and a delicious pool side snack bar. The guest are a diverse mix of young adults and older people and the evening is reserved for elegant dining and entertainment on their outdoor stage. I would definitely return to the RIU Palace Baja California, and I highly recommend it. "

"The property is beautiful and in excellent shape. Customer service is outstanding from every staff member at the hotel. It's a very family oriented hotel and is pretty quiet and calm. There are several restaurants, snack bars, and cafes that offer a variety of dining options that are very good quality. The area where the hotel is located is in the hotel beach zone that is very safe and walkable. Not that you'd need it but there are a couple of grocery superstores nearby for any necessary items. "
