Right across from the train station. Area walkable and safe. Rooms were clean and cozy and I even had a view of the Matterhorn from my balcony. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent!

Everything was great. Only minor thing was that the room was next to a train station, and every half hour we heard the train come in. But it seemed to stop from midnight to 5am or so. Staff was great, room was nice, breakfast was good. Location right in town and easy access to the train.

After a full day of hiking, it was such a pleasure to return to our clean, spacious, and comfortable hotel room to relax. We especially enjoyed soaking in the bathtub and taking in the breathtaking view of the Matterhorn from the balcony. Each morning, the generous and delicious breakfast spread was the perfect way to fuel up for another day of adventure. Hotel Sarazena is also ideally located—right next to the train station and the Coop grocery store. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Zermatt. Merci!

Great place to stay!

We were warmly welcomed by Diana. The room was comfortable and spacious. It had a view of the Matterhorn! It is conveniently located next to the train station and other sights.

Hotel Sarazena is very close to the Zermatt train station, so you don't have to drag your luggage across the whole town to get to your hotel. It is very close to Gornergrat Railway Station to get you up to the mountain. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice too. Even though it is very close to the two railway stations, the sound insulation is so good that we barely noticed the outside noises. Also, we have a Matterhorn view from our room. Wonderful stay at Zermatt.

We had a fantastic 3 day stay at this lovely hotel, rooms spacious and clean, big comfy bed, tasty breakfast, close to town and both railway stations. We were getting the 1st Glacier Express that morning, and they kindly did an early breakfast sitting. Would highly recommend

A lovely small hotel very close to the railway station. Felt very safe in Zermatt. Hotel had luxurious bedding and a satisfying breakfast. Would certainly return if ever in Zermatt again.
