I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times, sometimes for conventions, and sometimes for pre-air travel stays. It has always been a good value hotel. The rooms continue to be clean and quiet in most of the corridors.
We recently stayed here for a family trip booked with some friends. We booked ahead directly with the hotel by phone. We were told standard Rooms were unavailable for those dates and that we could only book an upgraded room at a higher price. When we arrived we were informed that a standard room was in fact available, but now for a higher price than the upgraded room. They assured us they do not alter their prices and that no error had occurred, even though they were now offering us the standard room we wanted, at a higher price than the upgraded room. Management couldn't even understand why this was an issue.
Yesterday I spoke with the call centre, after having some issues getting through the services I was hoping for I was put through to Aaron and he provided excellent customer service. All my questions were answered and I feel my family and I will have the best stay. Can't wait!
Got the jacuzzi suit for me and my bf and it was very romantic! We both enjoyed the large bed and beautiful jacuzzi and the nice little sitting area by the fireplace ! I’d recommend it to couples wanted to get away and just be with each other !
3 of us stayed in the deluxe Queen room. The room itself was in good clean condition. The beds/linen were comfortable. I loved the coffee amenities. The kids loved the pool but the hot tub was not hot but warm. I guess so children who go into the warm tub don't get stewed? The throw pillows on the bed looked like a wet mark on one. Bathroom had a towel hanging on the back hook. And there was a weird stain that could have been wiped clean on the bathroom door. There was leak stains on the bottom of the toilet bowl. The soap dish was dirty and hair around the sink. I worked in housekeeping for 5 years so I know that these are issues that can be easily be addressed while cleaning the room. All in all, 7/10 would stay again.
From friendly, helpful service at the front desk to the quiet, clean and comfortable rooms, continuing to the great selection at the bar and yummy food, this was an excellent choice for a quick two-day jaunt in and out of the 'Peg to see family. The pool area looked great too, but we didn't have a chance to use it. Maybe next time... :)
My husband and I spent one night as we were attending an event in their conference room. The room and bathroom were clean except for the carpet which looked old and has several red stains on it. I enjoyed the house coat they provided which was a nice extra for our standard room. We enjoyed breakfast at their in house restaurant which was convenient on a cold day.
I booked our family weekend over the phone with Aaron. He was very friendly and it was so easy. Rooms are nice and clean and kids loved the pool. We enjoyed our stay and will be back again for another weekend.
Was in town for a three day convention when the temperature dropped from -3C to -35C. Room was great with comfy beds, soft but firm pillows and good housekeeping. Thermostat worked properly to keep the room nice and toasty. Spacious bathroom with stand up shower stall only. Closet was really tiny. I couldn't hang up a jacket and five shirts in there. More like a broom closet. Otherwise I had a good location on the east side of the hotel on the ground level. Little to no noise from planes passing over head or taking off from the airport. Restaurant served excellent food and the convention facilities were perfect. The buffet style meals in the convention center were superb and great variety from meal to meal we had there. The meeting rooms were great for the company events we held and talking with others who attended, there were no complaints about the hotel, the meals or the location.
Rooms are clean and nice size. Easy to find and park here.Very close to airport and they offer a shuttle as well. Pool was very clean with a hot tub as well. Staff was friendly and courteous. The restaurant had great food and reasonably priced.
