Come steal away for a night in downtown Winchester in this little quiet studio efficiency just steps from the Handley Library and all that Downtown Winchester has to offer. Two blocks from the walking mall, Shenandoah University 5 min , Winchester Medical 5 min. Skyline Drive 30 min D.C. 1.5 hrs.

There is one main living area with comfy double futon/ couch, full kitchen, 32” flat screen TV with Roku ( Web Tv Netflix etc.. ) Desk area.
Full kitchen and Bathroom with shower. Plenty of closet space and two complimentary parking spaces. Laundry available in building.

I left after I saw the property, as a solo female traveler I did not feel safe there the front door is right by the “bed” which is a very small uncomfortable futon, I didn’t feel like the locks were secure to the front door, the bathroom was tiny you can barely even get in there, the comforter and sheets were worn and the whole place has a weird smell. It was awful I will be very careful about where I stay from now on after this experience.

Little things missing

While the owner could not have been nicer, VRBO dropped the ball. We did not get check in information, though the host provided it directly on hour after check-in time.The host needs to check in with the cleaners and visit the property. I say this as a landlord. We had one washcloth for two guests, no coffee or tea service, no tissues, no dish rag. The place looks a little run down and needs a refresh. Doors were broken, bathroom racks about to fall off the wall, and one soap dispenser was broken.I would recommend the property if these matters were addressed for a longer-term stay because of the location and excellent kitchen. We will stay elsewhere in Winchester next time, as the price is high for what you get.
