When my wife and I arrived on Nov. 27th the heater was barely blowing out hot air. We waited to see if the room would warm up overnight. Woke the next morning the rooom was freezing. I went to the front desk to inform them that our heat was not working, was told he would call maintenance. Went to lunch and shopping to kill time. Got back to the room at 2:30 pm, the heat was still not working. Went back to the front desk. I was told the heat couldn't be fix. I ask for a new room and was told he could give me a space heater. I told him I didn't want a space heater I wanted a new room. He then told me that I would have to wait for the manager to come at 7:00 pm. I said not going to wait that long. Then he ask me was I checking out? I told him yes. I ask would I get a refund? He said again, I would have to wait for rthe manager. I found another hotel to stay down the road.

The room was neglected. The heater was blowing cold air. Management was totally unprofessional. Our room temperature was 67. Management claimed no rooms available to switch to. But on hotels.com i seen 10 open rooms.

Our room wasn't clean upon arrival. When we did receive it, the condition was horrible. There was pubic hair in the bathroom and teeth marks on the soap. No towels or shampoo was provided. There was marks on the sheets and the wall paper was peeling. There was no internal lock on the door and the room smelled of smoke. The corners of the room had not been vacuumed in a while and were covered in dirt. Whenever I spoke to the clerk about this, they refused to help, saying I needed to go through the service I booked with and that they would not assist me. When I refused to take that answer, they took my keys back and refused to accommodate us. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Avoid this place like the plague.

The first room we were put in had a busted window only covered with cardboard which was not disclosed when we received keys. Secondly the manager had a nasty attitude when it came to us asking to switch rooms because of it. Next they gave room keys for our room to someone else even tho according to management their system would not allow that to happen. Someone walked into the room while we were there! Also the front lobby smelled like sewage that was not cleaned. Lack of breakfast even tho it was included as well as amenities lacking greatly.

The bed was very hard and sheets were bare minimum . I had to purchase my own blanket from a shop to make the stay more bearable. The staff was nice and the inn/motel was on the older side I liked some of the features like the private screen door and the skylight window in the bathroom .

Well it was going pretty good until we got to the room where while they had a tv but we were unable to change the channel and then we were having issues with the toilet not flushing and the sink just holding water like it was clogged

The outside is not bad a few painting it would be really nice but the inside……… my room, smell like wet dog, the carpet is extremely old. The inside was very neat and the bathroom was neat. It needs a major indoor renovation Then they could even raise the price up. That’s how nice it could be

Very convenient location to Colonial Williamsburg. Mexican restaurant and Colonial Pancake House nearby were great. Gentleman who managed the motel was nice and the rooms were clean, functional, and the beds and linens were new.
