Relaxing environment

The home is in a nice neighborhood with a short walk to the beach. It was nice that they allowed dogs. It is a 2 story unit with a narrow, steep staircase with a low ceiling. It was a pleasant stay to use a a home base while we did our day trip outings.

Long Weekend Getaway
My husband and I booked this property for a long weekend getaway. It was quaint, quiet, and clean. It was a great location - walking distance to the water and quick driving distance to other attractions we planned (Mystic Aquarium, Mohegan Sun, antique shops, and restaurants). Hosts were very quick with communications and made our stay extra welcoming. Lovely home and hosts!

Cozy setup / Tricky Stairs
Nice cozy getaway, and the hosts are very responsive. We had a pleasant, 2-day stay while in Westbrook to see some shows with some friends who were vacationing nearby. With bedroom upstairs and bath downstairs, navigating the steep steps in between required my utmost full attention, watching out for feet and my head, and I am not a tall person.

We were unhappy that we had tile the outsideGarbage bins out the road but my husband did It. This was not you fault it rained and snowed The whole time we usually filter and get a singe house so it does not get the dogs other than mine barking. But I hope the apartment we Have was in good shape.

Very comfortable
It's a very comfortable little cottage with an amazingly well kitted-out kitchen and a comfy couch to watch TV or to watch the cook cook. My only concern (as a very senior citizen) is that people with even mild mobility issues might find the very steep staircase up to the bedrooms unnerving. I did. The temp. downstairs was most comfortable, but upstairs it was very cold. Therefore, I'd also suggest a few more blankets be made available or perhaps encourage guests to bring their own.

Cozy retreat!
A teacher friend and I took a little trip up to Niantic and then back down to Westbrook where we stayed overnight. The next day we did some back to school shopping at the outlets, which are minutes away. We enjoyed our time and were extremely comfortable and slept well. We appreciated some of the sweet design details!

If you are looking for a nice getaway at a private beach this property is for you! The property is decorated perfectly for the beach both inside and out. First outing in eight months
Loved the whole layout very summery away feeling . My dog was comfortable with the neighborhood and the great beach swims and parks locally . The hosts were very good communicators and it was easy to get any confusion sorted out . The cottage was quiet and comfortable furniture and close to many restaurants and the grocery store .
