The room was clean and quiet. Unfortunately, the manager/owner told us they have to run around to other hotels because of being understaffed. Wasn't around a couple of times when we needed info/help. We did leave a message and was eventually contacted.

Clean, comfortable, room and bathroom.

Excellent location and a five minute drive to the park. Everything is within walking distance. Clean room. The ice machine was not working and there was no breakfast. Overall, I would stay here again.

Not worth half the cost! Stay elsewhere! Terrible rooms...

Okay for the price, but I expected a little more. The room was kinda of strange one double bed and one twin bed. The location was good and within walking distance to restraunts.

The Traveler's Lodge is kind of a throw back to the places my family stayed in when I was a kid. A clean, safe place to sleep. Not a lot of frills to say the least just basic comforts. Not cheap by most standards but Anything within distance of Yellowstone is never going to be cheap. I loved it for being within walking distance of restaurants in town and blocks away from the west entrance of the park.

Way overpriced . You guys initially quoted 100 dollars but when I tried to book it it jumped to over 200 dollars. Total ripoff and I blame orbitz. You guys are not ethical to do this jumpingbrate as I am about book. I did not notice it until it was too late

The unpleasant experience with this hotel began with the desk clerk giving me the keys to a room that was already occupied. When I opened the door the first thing I saw was a sleeping baby. The clerk then gave me the keys to another room, also already occupied. These she swapped for a third room which also had been rented by someone else. As I walked about the hotel I observed that it was in decrepit condition. For example, plywood decking material was peeling, ceiling light fixtures held exposed bulbs, rooms looked dirty. The clerk finally decided she could not honor my three day pre-paid reservation and, after consultation with her manager, sent me to another hotel owned by the same company that was marginally better than this one. The price I paid for this hotel would have paid for a luxury hotel in most parts of the country. I knew West Yellowstone was expensive so I didn't expect luxury but I did expect something much better than I received.

No breakfast. Internet worked slowly. Whole conditional is ok.

See aboveVery beat up, noisy, no recycling, no refrigerator...

reason I gave a 2 on hotel staff was the hotel clerk gave wrong directions to our room and we wandered around for at least 10 minutes before realizing the room was on the other row upstairs ( she had made it seem it was right outside and upstairs...) other than that the place was decent and I would use that hotel again.

This hotel was one of very few that had room for our visit to Yellowstone. It is a bare essentials motel. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. A 1990's TV got about five channels. This hotel seems to be geared to the Asian bus tours which stopped frequently through the week. This is not a problem for us but the Asian desk staff that could barely understand English was problem. For the high room rate, we had hoped for better.
