No air conditioning in the summer. Although outside was cool in the evening, inside room was hot. Fan was loud, and did not help lowering the temperature until early morning. Hard to get to sleep.

The bed i was in was very squeaky and the room didnt have any ventilation to my knowledge and it only had the heater and room fan… because of not having a good ventilation the room had weird smell not too strong but still persistent… not sure if its just me or just that room but i felt a bit suffocated throughout the stay unless i’d open the room door… however it was very close to the national park entrance which was an added advantage.

Location is great. Everything is within walking distance. The carpet is old and dirty. We had hard time to pull the blinds down, eventually the staff helped us to pull it down. I like they use the last four digits of our phone number as the key code and don’t have to tell them when we left before 7am.

Considering $$, this was worth the money. Room was clean, checkout easy. On the other hand, check-in was delayed by an hour because electronic keypad was not working properly and we needed to wait for key to be given to us instead. Room has no AC and bathroom's door were jamming so you need to use a strong pull to open it on the way out.

Overall the motel was fine and is a budget option for an expensive area to stay. The location is brilliant and parking was easy. Staff where friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the room wasn’t great, it had a strange smell and the window had no lock just a small piece of wood to stop it opening too far. The staff member on shift was very helpful and tried his best to sort it but it still wasn’t ideal and we felt we couldn’t leave any valuables in the room as someone could easily come in through the window. The floor of the room above was very creaky so whenever someone walked around you could hear them. I think we maybe just got a bad room and hopefully the security issue with the window gets fixed soon.

We loved this motel in West Yellowstone. Staff was very helpful, I left a jacket behind and they got it shipped out to me the same day I called to notify them of the missing item. The location is very walkable to dinning options. The rooms were super cute and comfortable. I loved the decor. I would highly recommend the Ho Hum motel to others! 5 star motel! Amazing service! So glad we lodged here!

I need to be fair, I did not catch or absorb the fact that there was no air conditioning in the rooms here. My wife wasn’t feeling well and would need to lie down for awhile and the heat was difficult. The room was clean but the screen was hanging loose and moths were coming in. I tried to reset it but the clips were missing and the owner had curtain hooks outside to try to hold it in. We decided to pack up and go find air conditioning. This placed is priced lower because of the lack of AC and it is obvious he is keeping it up pretty well, but it could not work out for us on this trip. The rooms were small but clean and orderly.

The room is "Ho Humm" and way too expensive.

It was clean and the bed was comfortable, but it was diffinately "Ho Hum". I am a simple person, as long as thing are clean, but ithis room waThere was no air conditioning.
