Very nice property

The location is good- very near Yellowstone. It’s a very cool experience but it’s quite expensive. I wish they had kayaks To use for the river. The breakfast was not good. I’m glad we experienced this, if it had not been so pricey we would have stayed here more than one night. All in all we had a good vacation in Montana.

Beautiful and convenient location. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Cabin was very comfortable. Loved the fire pit with s’mores!

Beautiful place to stay!! Very clean tents. Friendly staff. The whole experience was amazing. It’s in the pricey side, so we only stayed one night. If it was cheaper we would have stayed more nights.

A perfect experience to live in cozy tent which is very close to nature

construction going on at the property. it was disappointing. it does get very cold in the night and they should have light the fire better and allow the tent to get warm. it is not yet ready for primetime and may be better once all the construction gets over.

Really cool spot. My wife and I had a great time.

The whole idea if this hotel is fantastic! Fresh air, beautiful tent, even had chargers for the phone! I only wish we could park our car close to tent, that was quite of a walk.

Tents are spacious. Very clean and functional. The wood stove was perfect to stay warm at night. Clean bathroom and showers. Was fun to feel a sense of camping without actually camping. “Glamping” is definitely a fun experience. They had a big fire with everything for s’mores. Also other fun outdoor games. Worth the stay. Especially to change things up from hotels.

Stay in the open fields of Montana a quick 10 minute drive to Yellowstone. Bring warm clothes for August as the oven heaters on the room do not heat the entire tent. Plenty of staff on hand for every need. book an excursion thru Yellowstone Under Canvas and you won't regret it! What a wonderful family experience! Plenty of hot cocoa and coffee throughout the day in the big tent and s'mores, too.

This place was great. We are campers but were on vacation, so didn't want to lug around camping gear. The staff are all accommodating and friendly, as well as responsive to any issues. We highly recommend this place.

My family loves to camp, so they enjoyed this style of a stay. Because we were flying to our destination, we couldn't bring along camping gear and this experience gave us a taste of what it would be like to sleep outside. I would recommend reserving a tent with a stove because even though it was summer, the nights are cold. Two things that were negative about this place were the mosquitoes and there was no mirror in the tent. I wear contacts and it would have been nice to have a small mirror. The mosquitoes were really horrible, but the lobby tent offered bug spray to purchase or a complimentary application every now and then. The campfire was terrific and they had great hospitality overall; always there to help if needed.

We checked in under strong wind conditions and were told we if conditions persisted there was a slight possibility of having to spend the night in our cars. Then because of bears we could have no food in our tents- so much for smores with the kids. Third the restroom facility was a bit of a walk and their emphasis on sustainability meant that to shower one had to hold onto a chain to keep the water running. Somehow, I remember reading about none of these possible inconveniences when paying what was regrettably the highest per room cost of our entire trip. We should have just gone camping in the national park and bought a tent or checked out the regular campground cabins at the site less than a mile away. Overall, it was an expensive experience.

Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. It was very disappointing to open our season with construction going on. It is great to have the construction over with and our brand new lobby up as well as new expansion tents. We are available 24 hours a day to light your fire for you and provide more wood if needed throughout the night. We would love to have you back at Yellowstone Under Canvas now that the construction is gone. We apologize that we did not give you the 5 Star accommodations that we strive for. Thank you, Eric Otis
