I stayed in this place and was very impressed. The house is very clean and modern, with nice-looking furniture throughout. I could easily live here! You can even look out the window and see the ocean. There are three bedrooms and an extra sofa bed in the basement, so there’s plenty of space — perfect for a group or family. You can take a relaxing walk on the beach at night, and there’s a beach bar just around the corner.

West Haven Beach Stay

Perfect location near the beach! When we stayed the weather wasn’t ideal for the beach day but I can only imagine how perfect this house would be in a beautiful day! The host had a wagon and beach toys available as well which was wonderful. Very cute property. I was unsure of our check out instructions other than to ensure we cleaned our dishes and messaged the host and never heard back but other than that our stay was great.

Check-in time was at 12 noon. House was not clean, was asked to come back 3 hours later. Contact property manager, they said to contact the vacation rental company We chose this place because check-in was supposed to be at 12pm as listed but it was not ready at12 o'clock. That was the reason why we chose that place. Because we had a wedding to be at 4 and we wanted Get dressed at rental property. Was explain this to the property manager? Not only the day of but the day before, reminding her arrival time and to asking for the code for the door noted in one review before this. Was one of their problems? Not having code information for the door so I followed that recommendation when following up with property manager.

Beautiful house near the beach!

We were visiting friends so wanted to rent a place for our family (2 adults, 2 children). This property is ideally located just outside of New Haven, walking distance to the beach, easy parking, spacious and beautiful on the inside. The only hiccup was the owner forgot to include the door code and we did not realized this would prevent entry to the place until late at night when we were ready to check in on the first day. My only suggestion for future renters is to make sure the code is included and you will definitely enjoy your stay!
