There was nobody at the front desk when I arrived and it took a while for someone to appear, but I realize places are short staffed nowadays so it wasn't a big deal.

Front desk concierge was exceptionally helpful, especially given the current COVID-19 processes and policies. Property was very clean and appealing.

Close to Yale campus (4.5 miles or about 10 minutes). I came for parents weekend and almost all the rooms around campus had been Hampton Inn is in a safe neighborhood, pretty clean, good buffet breakfast, courteous staff. It has amenities I didn’t use like the indoor pool. I would say is a bit on the expensive side but I was glad to pay it as compared to the most expensive hotels In New Haven close to Yale campus. But there are similar options but less priced in the Yale campus neighborhood, though you have to reserve well in advance. So, all in all a good alternative outside New Haven but very close.
The staff was awesome from check in, to assistance with doors, to the breakfast assistant! So gracious and friendly all three of them. Hotel tired but fine.
Everyone was very professional. I was impressed more than some of the more expensive hotels in the area.
Was a good location with lots of food choices around within walking distance. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was great. Fresh eggs and other items to choose from. Coffee was also very good.
This was exactly what I wish more hotels could be like. Just right. Fast, friendly check in. Clean, comfortable room and beds. Nice breakfast early and long enough to be helpful. Microwave and fridge. If I was being super picky, I would have liked a Keurig/ way to get hot water and tea, since I'm not a coffee person. But there was hot water and tea downstairs at breakfast, so not a really big deal. I would definitely come back here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the New Haven area.
We were traveling for business. The hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel overall was very clean and comfortable. The shower was amazing. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Would stay here again.
