I have seen some negative reviews regarding this hotel, and I am shocked. Our stay could not have been more enjoyable. Clean, well decorated entry, easy parking, wonderful room. And despite the heatwave in Pittsburgh, the AC was magnificently cold! Great little boutique hotel.

The lobby was all decorated for Christmas and it was just amazing! Made me happy every time I went through it. Lots of seating and cute bars and restaurants. We are definitely staying here if we find ourselves in Pittsburgh again.

Location is perfect for getting to everything Pittsburgh. The service at the hotel wasn’t so good. For instance, on our last night after getting back from the football game to get ready for dinner we had to call the front desk to have our room serviced, then did it again an hour later. They didn’t service the room that day. There were other issues with room service as well. The location is great, the service will keep you wondering if this is really a Fairmont.

The hotel needs to be updated. No safe in room and furniture and fixtures are a bit dated. The staff was very nice and helpful.
