We arrived and we blown away with the greeting and the help with luggage, directions to our room etc. Anytime we asked a question it was no trouble. The room had a good view out over Wellington streets (7th floor). Great facilities, liked the washer/dryer all in one. Location is brilliant, I was on business and could easily walk to all my meetings and plenty of choice for eateries and cafe's within minutes.
Arrived at my room and when the door opened, I was surprised - everything was so modern and fresh looking. Separate bedroom with an exceptionally comfy bed and windows that opened to allow a good breeze in. Balcony had two doors, one from the bedroom and one from the lounge. Loved that I could open the windows and doors. The suite was fully functional with a washing machine and dishwasher. Fantastic shower. Fluffy thick towels, perhaps a little tiny but did the job. Nespresso machine was also an added bonus. The only thing I could fault was the outside noise but once the window was closed, that became minimal. The annoying beep, beep, beep of the pedestrian crossing below drove me nuts but that's not the issue of the suite. The view was interesting and location beside the big church is an easy point for people to recognise. Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful in every way. Wished I was staying longer :-)
We rented a 2 bedroom apartment which came fully useable including dish washing powder and laundry detergent. So central and able to walk everywhere. We did not find noise an issue. The apartments are in 2 parts one up an alley where we stayed. Older but quieter and the newer apartments closer to the mainstreet. Only issue i had was the single bed in second bedroom where I slept was very small. However if coming to Wellington again I would stay here again.
Our 2 bedroom apartment was great. Really spacious and comfortable, it felt like home from home. The staff on reception were fabulous: friendly and efficient and very welcoming. Beautifully central, you can walk everywhere from this place. Would definitely stay here again.
Our studio apartment was new, very comfortable, clean, serviced daily. Dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, balcony, microwave. Very central for shops, concert hall and waterfront, yet quiet at night - near but not too close to party-central at Cuba St. Staff helpful too. Would stay again.
Good location and comfortable accommodation but no air conditioning and very noisy with the window open. Definitely wouldn’t stay in summer. Unusual to stay in apartments like this with no aircon. Everything else was great.
Second stay here, last time 7 years ago. Did not disappoint. This time with 4 girlfriends for WOWA show. We booked a 2 bedroom townhouse and asked for 2 additional beds, but were informed that only one extra could be provided due to health and safety. Fair enough. On the day of check in we were thrilled to find we'd been upgraded to a 4 bedroom townhouse, which worked perfectly for us. 3 full bathrooms, and all rooms modern, clean and tidy. Heaters provided and we were very warm and comfortable. Lounge a decent size and accommodated 5 of us fine. Location is perfect for shopping and easy access to pretty much everywhere you'd want to go. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
This was a good place to base ourselves to explore Wellington. We were able to park our car and the townhouse was great, with a separate room and bathroom for the children. It was within easy walking distance to everything and the facilities were good.
We had a very pleasant moment at Boulcott. The location was great, the apartment clean and comfortable, we was using a car and the garage works well and the staff are friendly. We had no trouble with the internet.
I travel a lot for work and was recently in City LIfe Apartments in Auckland. Coming to Wellington I was booked into the Boulcott Suites, North Tower. With the one exception of the kitchen equipment, everything about Boulcott was inferior to City Life. The bath towels were small with low thread count, there is no recycling, garbage is not collected from your room... but perhaps the most distressing element is the "air-con" a vent in the room that blows air from morning until 8pm every day, creating a constant white noise in the room. When I inquired about how to switch it off, I was informed that it is centrally controlled and cannot be turned off. (This central control, resonates with the overall prison feeling of the apartments.) As I had to spend hours at a time working in my room, this was very distracting. Next time I'm in Wellington, I will not choose to stay here.
