The hotel is basic and clean. The place could use a coat of paint and a few updates to improve curb appeal, but despite seeming run down in areas, we had no concerns about the cleanliness. The bed was comfortable, and the rooms were quiet - we were not bothered by any street noise. Super close to dining, shopping...really anything you want to do!

I stayed for a week but I had to approach the front desk to enquire about housekeeping frequency, as I have had none for 4 days. I was also mistakenly charged for car parking (when I had no car), but this was resolved as soon as I alerted them to it. Other than that, this was a very good stay.

This was not my favourite trip to welly. It was so noisy from the room next door due to the walls being paper thin I could hear there conversation and then they snored all night. I got about 2 hours of sleep after I was able found some noise canceling earbuds. It was pretty bad.

Booked room for the night at the astelia , because it was within walking distance to the opera house, the price was good for what i needed and also it had better reviews compared to others that were closer .. Room conditioner was very good and would def book again if i needed to stay in the area again for the night ..

Comfortable, clean, great place!

Stayed here for three days and it was super pleasant and much larger and better than I could hope for! I arrived after check-in time and instructions were super clear and everything went off without a hitch. The apartment was well-stocked and much bigger than I thought it would be. Location is excellent, so much stuff to walk to in the heart of Wellington and a grocery was nearby too. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to stay a few days. I was able to cook, do laundry, and do everything I’d need for a comfortable stay away from home!

Having a washing machine and dryer was a godsend. Great location, everything is walkable. The parking across the street is terrible (smallest and narrowest I’ve ever seen) so if you can do without a car, do! Room was clean, wifi needs a booster, but otherwise a great stay.

Stayed one night in a lovely apartment (mini studio) for a work trip. Fab spot, close to the central city, with a great little asian food market across the road. Bed was comfortable, shower awesome, and there was even a combined washer/dryer if you needed to do some clothes washing. Good sized room at a very reasonable price. Would definitely stay again.

This is one of those places where you should know what you're getting before you book. While I didn't expect it to be flash, it was much worse than I could have thought. I booked for 3 nights, but only stayed for one of them. If you get a room here with an internal door that used to interconnect two rooms, you're not going to have a good time. The walls are thinner than paper thin. I could hear every moment, conversation, and legitimately every breath of the occupants in the room beside me. This made it impossible to live, sleep and work properly. What's worse is that the people beside me were gang affiliated, and I was treated to antics that, honestly, made me afraid for my safety. As such, I booked an additional room at the similarly-priced, but much more accommodating Naumi. This place definitely isn't 4-star. It's 2-star at best. I couldn't recommend it. If you're looking for an aparthotel, there are much more comfortable stays just as cheap within the same area.

Great location, clean tidy rooms with nespresso and awesome teas. Quiet policy after 10pm. Raglan roast coffee (next door) is always a quality coffee and so cheap you can have two or three 😁
