We went for the Scrapbook Expo and this was all we could find available close to the expo. It had good reviews but they must all be construction workers. Our room when we arrived late after shopping and working at the expo all day and driving to get there, it was very dirty and I reported it to the hotel they told me they would send someone..Never did clean it. Bathroom was disgusting, no dishes, silverware or nothing the room is a suite and has dishwasher, refrigerator etc yet nothing to use unless you call front desk. Who stays someplace like this and knows to have to call front desk and leave to get accessories when you feel abandoned at this place you cannot even determine where to check in. It looked like residential housing low class. Very disgusting place beer cans outside property and trash with grills etc in the yards outside rooms where you can see it's long term rentals for workers. I'm not judging just saying its not your normal everyday hotel. I don't recommend this hotel at all unless you are a construction worker. Poor service when I even called to complain I got no where.
My experience here was not pleasant and relaxing at all. The company needs to put more attention to this property as it has many safety hazards and concerns, broken furniture, power outlets that clearly had once caught on fire, etc. Was not a safe place to have my young children.
Definitely use a third party application or site to help you find deals. But I was here for 10 days. The first night, the people above me decided to have a pretty good fight. Eventually, law enforcement was called and the ruckus ended. Other than that, it was good. Staff is knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. It's definitely one of the nicer and more convenient of the weekly stay places around. There are several restaurants in walking distance, most are chain places but there is a killer taco joint, El Granito del Oro, right across Lee road and a great Mexican place, Picante, about half a mile away.
The front desk crew is amazing!!! They went above and beyond to service us. I would like to specially thank Haider/Luis first and foremost for an enjoyable stay and being so cool! Isabel and Promita for their delight-fullness they shown throughout our stay! Thank you guys, please keep up the good work! Yes, Isabel I give you all a "10"!
This is just a plain rip off The rooms are dirty The staff is rude The hallways stink or insect spray For the money it is a bad value A fat, weird guy sits in the lobby all of the time - very creepy The breakfast is not a continental breakfast!!
This was my first experience of staying in Extended Stay. This is a good option if you are on business and want to stay near the IAD airport. Rooms are decent and clean. Grab and Go breakfast is OK. Shopping areas and few restaurants nearby. If you are an Indian traveler, you can find a Indian grocery store just on 2 minutes walk. Lot of Asian/Indian restaurants around 2-3 miles. Overall a decent stay. As of now tea/coffee is available only during breakfast hours at the lobby if timings for the same can be extended that would be of great help/
The price takes away the edge of it being a tired property. Smoking on upper floors is hard to believe in 2017. You can still smell it. Would not take kids to this place, but OK for business. There are a two restaurants next door if you want to keep dinner simple.
Great hospitality, having the kitchen option with utensils really made it comfortable, great walking routes for low impact exercise, all of the necessary places to eat, get coffee (starbucks) 7-11, buy a can at Target and brew your own all weekend in your room...how cool is that
Upon entering the stuffy room, accosted by smell of marijuana (or some other strange smell); however, windows were open. Air conditioning made the room too cold, heater too hot, and opening windows didn't help either way. Refrigerator made loud grinding and rattling noises the entire stay. Hallways weren't vacuumed the entire stay. Breakfast consisted of coffee, individually wrapped muffins, and breakfast bars (oatmeal/raisin and peanut butter). Two boxes of empty beer bottles remained in the stairwell my entire stay, and residents hung out in the stairwells at night. Most important complaint: Linen on bed and pillows were itchy and gave the sensation of something crawling on me, and did find a bug (not sure if a bed bug) under the top comforter. Least expensive, but not a very comfortable stay.
I always come here the area is great. The traffic is a little busy between 5pm and 7pm but otherwise hood restaurants and stores nearby to shop and eat.The staff delivers good customer service and always make it an easy check in and check out process. I highly reccommend this location to anyone.
