Hotel staff were friendly, but the reception desk was understaffed. Description of room said it would have a king bed and sofabed. No sofabed. Hard to adjust the room heat. No heat in the hallways. Evidence of water damage in common areas of the hotel that needs to be repaired.

Very nice , breakfast was a plus. The only thing was a leaking sink.

I was staying there to be close to the hospital where a family member was being treated for a fall. Great to be so close, but I have to admit that the room was quite cold, and the thermostat didn't seem to make a difference. There was an old heater under the window that seemed to be leaking cold air into the room. It was impossible to sit in the chair near the window. Other than that, everything was great, very convenient parking, friendly staff, good food in the bistro, etc.

The hotel stay was ok but don't eat the breakfast buffet my husband had a hair in his fruit and they did nothing about it

Everything was beautiful: decor, comfort and hospitality. I was almost bullied into paying $21 for parking . I was warned that I would get towed. Liars. (Or I was lucky) I parked on the side of the hotel. What racket are they running? I know better suckers! My car was just fine.

Was nice but the bath tub was clogged, the outlets works only when the light suit is on.

Time for new mattresses. Had to buy Starbucks coffee in the morning. Should be complimentary in the lobby early.

Unfortunately rooms were scarce in the DC Metro area. I had to stay at a Marriott. As a weary business traveler let's start with the hallway overrun by children running the hall and a hall adult monitor in the middle of it all. Then I enter a freezing cold room with a bathroom that looks like what I had in college topped off with poop on the toilet. You make the call!

We just wanted a place to sleep before catching a flight from DCA. Wish the $21 parking charge had been more clear upfront, but whatever.

Very nice hotel for the discounted rate we paid, though we wish breakfast had been included! The beds were heavenly.

Booked it last minute with a great price. Service was good.

The hotel was average, nothing extraordinary. The rooms were average. No breakfast at the hotel.

Good experience for family getaway. Hotel was neat and accessible. Hotel staff were courteous and helpful. Will come again.

Had to pay $20 pay day parking. Should have inclided with the hotel rate.

Overall, great hotel. Nice room and ammenities. Only downside to this stay was when I checked and gave them my name they authorized my credit again for an enitre room fee instead of just incedentals. I had to speak 3 different people during my 1 night stay, and it seems like they didn't care that the room was pre-paid through this website and that someone made a mistake. They all seemed annoyed more than anything. Would have given 5 stars, but worrying about whether or not I will be double charged for a room kept me from being completely satisfied. Also beware, there is a $19/night parking fee to park in the garage that is not disclosed when you book the room. I would prefer to be able to pre-pay this or know about it upfront

The staff could not have been more accommodating or nice.

The price was excellent and getting about quite easy because we were just off 395 North and 6.5 miles out of DC. Old Town Alexandria was one exit north and less than 15 minutes on King Street. A little noisy from traffic even though we were on the 9th floor. We were surprised that there was no refrigerator / microwave in the room. We did not request it because just about everywhere we stayed this was the norm. Nice soft bed and plenty of pillows. Free WiFi but parking cost $19/day.

Clean, welcoming hotel. Staff incredibly friendly. Stormy weather, so I was grateful to have their Bistro for dinner. Very pretty indoor pool. Location a little difficult -- go with good directions. Be prepared to pay a $19 parking fee. I will definitely go back to this hotel when visiting Northern Virginia.

The room was nice, but I didn't like that I had to pay for parking for just one night. The night staff was a little rude, but the day staff was pleasant.

Overall it was a good deal. I wish they had complementary breakfast.
