The breakfast on Saturday was inedible. Some kind of prefabbed disgusting eggs. Also, the breakfast area was not clean between the yogurt and milk fridge and other areas it was disgusting. Obviously in need of a deep cleaning. The other issues were cleaning staff. They were literally screaming and laughing (speaking spanish) for almost an hour while “cleaning” one room with door wide open. This was 6 rooms down from us and the opposite side of hallway. I finally called the front desk and it stopped. Sunday as we were heading down to check out, a cleaning staff member had her Tejano music blasting on top of her cleaning cart in the hallway. I have NEVER stayed at any hotel that had staff behaving this way. What if someone was sleeping in? Or at least trying to … it was 9am. On a brighter note the checkin staff was great and very friendly. This hotel was way overpriced at almost $500 for 2 nights it was more of a LaQuinta experience than a Marriot experience. I would not recommend them.

Our first stay here. Will definitely stay again. Had skim milk....most hotels do not and it is the only milk I can drink. Loved the hotel.
The beds were of high quality, supportive (firm) but also soft on the top layer.
Hotel is nice. Location is on the outskirts of downtown but close enough to get there in about 10-15 minutes. Would have rather stayed at our second choice hotel right on the river. I was disappointed in the front desk service. I wouldn’t stay again. Had a couple little issues and wasn’t offered an apology, just a “that’s crazy” from the front desk clerk. Had to change rooms due to cleanliness issue. During COVID the last thing you want to worry about is wondering if your room is actually clean.
I didn’t like that the WiFi didn’t connect to my Mac Book. It connected to my phone , but I really needed to connect it to the laptop
My only complaint was that there was excessive noise in the bar Saturday night which woke me about 1:00 a.m. I had asked for a quiet room, but 219 is right over the entry...so that was a problem.
We were in town for a baseball tournament and stayed at Springhill Waco. Great hotel, everything was clean, room was fantastic for the price, and it was super close to several restaurants.

Very close to Baylor and one of the cleanest hotels we stayed at in Waco. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool and spa.
