Luxury King Suite accommodations at Barclay Towers right on the Virginia Beach boardwalk with private balcony/patio overlooking the waves. Conveniently located on the beach at 8th and Atlantic in the heart of the oceanfront. Large units, sleep 4 (2 on a pull out couch), kitchens in each unit, Huge Indoor pool, and hot tub that fits 6 facing the ocean in front of a huge garden sun window. Free wifi. Free parking included. Indoor pool and large hot tub overlooking the beach. fitness center. Steps from everything the ocean front has to offer.

Check in is only allowed on Saturday or Wednesday. Partial week stays also allowed.

Mid week cleanings are available on Wednesdays.

I have a unit the first week of August that is on the ground floor - so you will have a private door to the boardwalk and the beach. Great for small children as there is also a sand foot wash close by.
The rest of my units are on upper floors with balconies.
Guests can enjoy a TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a kitchen, a balcony, and a sofa bed.

Perfect vacay

Everything was perfect the room was wonderful and clean and it had everything you needed had all appliances dishes pots and pans the location was perfect the only thing was check in the people weren’t very nice to my husband they had a bad attitude check out was a different story very polite and friendly I would recommend this property to others thank you

Booked a spot at the Barclays Resort for 1 night. About an hour later get a notification from the owner that we are unable to keep the booking bc Barclays requires 3 nights minimum stay. Owner booked us at The Atrium Resort instead and offered $100 refund for inconvenience. We check into resort get our room and get settled in. 10 minutes later I walk in the bathroom and see a tick on my shirt through the mirror. I flush it down the toilet and call the front desk. Hoping it was a tick and not bed bugs I pulled allllll the sheets back and don’t find anymore crawling mites but did find veryyy dirty and stained sheets. Front desk says someone from night staff will be here at 4pm to change sheets. They did and all was fine from there but very rocky start and probably would prefer hotel stay next time.

We didn't stay at this property when I went to check in they didn't have my name or any reservation. After about an hour and alot of stress I got ahold of the owner and was given a different place to stay. The place we were was given wasn't ocean front but ocean view and was an amazing place. We love the pool and the location. Besides the stress of checking in the other place was a lot nicer and bigger. We were very pleased with the place

I can not give you a review of Barclay because we did not stay there.

I was very disappointed. This was are first time time to be going to Virginia Beach and had wanted a place that we could walk out and see the beach. Instead when we arrived at Barclay Towers they didn't have a reservation for us, we called the owner he put us in other location with only a peek & poo view of the ocean. I have found out that the Peter WELL KNOW for doing this. Peter also when he changed location didn't even put the resevation under are name.

My main issue was how filthy this place was. I took pictures on my phone. It doesn't look like house keeping does the best from dirty floors to a dirty kitchen. I can honestly say this is by first the worse location vrbo has ever sent me too.

Good value for the money. Location.

The property is conveniently located on the ocean front with all the units facing the ocean. Suites are not spacious but can accommodate a family of 4. Staff is helpful and responds to requests promptly. Parking is included. Cons are: - Fridge is not cold enough even on the coldest setting. - TV channels are quite limited: no Fox News, no Discovery etc. - Breakfast although included is substandard IMO.

Understated... this condo has everything.

Our first impression was “Clean”. The place was clean, tidy and has absolutely everything you might need for a beach stay*. Check in was quick and easy. Parking is a covered garage across the street but we were able to unload beforehand. The air conditioning was plentiful and had an option that didn’t cycle the compressor all night long. The balcony is deep enough to sit comfortably and watch the ocean. There are bicycle rentals nearby with the bike path right outside the east exit. Beach access is every avenue and a very short walk. We walked no more than 15 minutes to four different excellent restaurants for lunch. Covid precautions are in place and all servers are masked up and seem happy to be back to work. Peter was a great host, easy to contact and available to answer questions. We had a wonderful time. *We brought our own beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels.

The property was nice, I enjoyed the proximity to the beach.

I did not stay at Barclay Towers, I stayed at Ocean Shores. The owner of the property, did not have my reservation taken care of with either of these places. I had pre-paid my stay and was told by the owner that the confirmation was coming. It never did. I emailed and left messages for this guy and he did not get back to me. Too late for me to change other reservations including time off work, so I went ahead with my plans and arrived here late at night. Neither place had a reservation for me. At 1:00 a.m. I went back to the Ocean Shores and the night clerk kindly called his boss and they arranged for me to stay in a room they had been doing work on. I've used VRBO before with good results, but don't know if I would again after this experience. The property was nice, but the owner was a disaster.

Great location and nice facility!

Location was changed from original booking. We actually stayed at Ocean Sands as this was a very busy time when we booked. I will definitely book this location again. Close to everything and we were able to park in the attached parking garage. Restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. Beachfront and boardwalk with a balcony!! Loved it!!
