clean and price reflex lacking amenities ... nice town
Considering the hotel is 1 of 3 that I know of in Goliad it's ok. The way I see it, you're paying about 36.00 a night and that is what you're going to get. Lighting in the rooms are terrible. The furniture is old and very well loved. The carpet kinda feels kinda sticky, but that's probably due to the humidity. The AC and heater work great, though. NO WIFI!!!!! Like I said, it's and unconventional stay, but if you're just there to sleep, it's a good deal. The staff seem unfriendly at first, but if you know anything about culture, you can imagine why. Given the circumstances of Goliad's size (or lack there of) I can only imagine the caliber of the jerks who come through there.
