No staff at front desk. Had to pick phone to call staff. Pool green not maintained correctly. We only stay one night but never saw any front desk agent but when use phone to call. I plan on staying there next week. Room ok exect tub drain. Pool could not go for a swim.

We have stayed at this hotel in past but this stay was not the best . The card would not read to open the door , had to get it reset multiply times . No one came to look at it .. I would take 10mins to get into the room trying to get the card key to work .

Staff were pleasant. Property and room was clean. Staff said the hotel was not busy but the only rooms available were on the second floor, the stairs were an easy grade but this could be a problem for someone with mobility issues as there is no elevator. Otherwise everything was fine. Breakfast was good.

The property is old but it was clean. The front desk clerk was not that happy to see guest lol. It’s so quiet there I bet guest are not plentiful. It seems like she rather watch tv then greet and be a bit more welcoming to the guest. Felt like we kept her from watching her favorite tv show. But the hotel served its purpose of a one night stay. It’s a pretty stale environment. The young man was nice. Should have took his name for the review. Not many other choices in Refugio so that’s that!
