Hotel HR Director/Hotel Admin should be fired. He did not notify that breakfast closed early on Sundays. He rudely kicked customers out of the breakfast lounge. When questioned he became irate and argumentative towards the customers. The sign said it closed at 10 and he closed it at 9. When asked about the time it was taken down. He told customers that were questioning the sudden time change, he said he didn't need to notify anyone. He threatened to call the cops and told a woman and her daughter that they were being kicked out and he was forcibly canceling their room. With her daughter standing there watching. When the female customer asked him if he knew why they were there, he responded that he didn't care and that their room was now canceled. We will never come back to this hotel and I will be posting what happened everywhere I possibly can. He needs to be fired and removed from your facility

The property is very old and outdated. The carpets are stained and the room had dirty tissues behind the tv and crumbs between the bed and nightstand. The room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke all night and morning. The bed was very soft and uncomfortable. I do not recommend this hotel.

Good place to stay in Victoria.

Great service, but not the cleanest room…ie-small wads of toilet paper in corners and along the bathroom door thresh hold. Also a dirty wash cloth hanging on the shower rod on my first night( i hadn't used the restroom at all yet!). Carpet very old…needs to be replaced or really deep cleaned.

Problems with TV (they said they had just replaced the tv's). Don't understand the limited hours for breakfast, and selection was low/missing. The changed "free breakfast" and service on Holiday, which should of been part of the booking process. I probably would gone somewhere else. I wish I did.

I stayed in this property 10 years ago also. That experience was so good that I returned. Again it was very convenient to wherever you needed to go in Victoria. Also 1-2 blocks from 2-3 restaurants & various shops including Target. A bit dated and in need of updating but very comfortable & clean.

I would not go back

This hotel is quite old, and while I would like to say everything was great, that was not the case. My experience began on a sour note with the front desk. The clerk was not friendly or inviting; in fact, she was quite rude when welcoming me. Rather than acknowledging my greeting of "good afternoon" and asking how I was, she simply demanded that I state how she could help me. I usually don't leave bad reviews, but this interaction left a poor impression. I understand I arrived 30 minutes before check-in, but her response felt unnecessary. Although the atmosphere improved later, the initial impression was disappointing. The hotel, while seemingly well-kept, showed its age with areas that were not clean. Our sheets had unsightly stains, the shower was moldy, and the floors were dirty. On a positive note, the location was excellent, and there was good parking available.
