We had a nice stay at this property and found it perfectly suited to our needs. The photos provided by the management company were very accurate. The Highlights:• The Location: We were here specifically for cycling, and it’s a perfect 40-mile out-and-back trip to Ojai. It is also only about 3 miles from the Ventura beach path. Short drive to the harbor if you were doing a day trip to Channel Islands. Downtown Ventura has some great restaurants and a laid back feel to just walk around. • Outdoor Amenities: The property is right across the street from Marina Bay Park (great for families) and the beach is lovely for walks at low tide. After long days of biking and hiking, the backyard spa was a treat. The upper rooftop deck was a comfortable place to relax, • Comfort: The bed in the upstairs primary suite was very comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure. We were only 1 couple so cannot comment on other bedrooms or downstairs bathroom.A Few Notes for Improvement:While the kitchen is fully equipped, it would benefit from a bit of organization. Some of the older, deteriorated pots and pans should probably be replaced, and the drawers are a bit crowded with multiple of the same items making it a bit difficult to find things. Additionally, while ant traps were set up along the counters and floors, they appeared to be empty; having a few fresh backups on hand would be helpful. We would definitely stay here again!
