One of the best City Centre hotels I’ve stayed at. Four of us went there for my birthday weekend. The hotel location, facilities, ambiance were lovely and the staff could not have been more helpful or pleasant. Lovely modern rooms, special touches (I won’t be a spoiler). Great breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed in the suite which had a separate lounge area and bedroom. Worth paying for an upgrade. It was large and spacious with lovely views of the canal. You could hear the boatmen singing as they came past during the day. Comfortable clean room, nice breakfast and friendly reception staff. Easy to get to from the train station. Nice shops, restaurants and cafes within walking distance.

Loved this hotel. Charming and right on the canal and steps from the Vaporetta. The staff, especially, Giaya, (not sure how to spell her name) was so helpful for recommendations for restaurants and other things to do. The room was gorgeous with a beautiful, modern bathroom. Although it's on the canal, we had a room on the side overlooking a tiny street, so it was really quiet. The bed was so comfortable, I slept like a baby. The breakfast was amazing. Everything you could possibly want for a breakfast buffet and included in the price of the room. It was a little away from the beaten path, but that is what we loved about it. Walkable to a ton of restaurants and shops. My advise is to stay in Venice no more than 2 nights. We stayed 3 and that was too much. Would highly recommend this hotel.

I'd like to start this review off by saying nothing terrible happened. You get what you pay for. We stayed in Rome then Florence and Venice was our third stop. After paying 100 euro for a private transfer from the train station to the NH hotel which was a 10 min ride we arrived. We had to carry our own bags up the steps of the hotel because they have one bellmen for the entire hotel. Four big bags up 3 steps. Not the biggest deal but when you are paying 850 euro per night for a room it's at least expected to be greeted by someone. After bringing our own bags to the front desk we were greeted by the front desk agent. Our check in was quick and very brief nothing was explained about the room or where anything in it was or how anything in the room worked. During our stay we discovered that the wifi in the room only works in the front corner closest to the door. We didn't ask to move because we had already unpacked and figured it wasn't worth the hassle. If we weren't traveling and weren't paying crazy fees for data it wouldn't have been that big of a deal. After three days it became annoying. We got one of the nicest rooms in the hotel and I can say it looked like a holiday Inn. Not in a good way. It was cheaply done and after going to a few other hotels we knew we made a mistake with this booking. The staff in the hotel was nice enough no one was rude or nasty however this is certainly not the staff that we are accustomed to with other hotels along our journey. We called the front desk one day to help with a reservation at a local restaurant and we were transferred outside the hotel to the NH collection and then transferred again. No one was able to help us. We are talking basic hospitality 101 failed. I would have voiced my displeasure with the hotel upon check out except they didn't even bother to ask how the stay was. Oh and when we were checking out we called down to the front desk to ask a bellmen to help us with our bags. The phone rang for 3 mins no one answered so we again had to bring our own bags down and to the water taxi. If we ever come back to Venice we 100% won't be staying here. After going to multiple hotels in the area there are much better options for the price we paid.

The staff is excellent. The location is excellent. The hotel is excellent. I will only stay in NH collection hotels. You will not be disappointed staying at this hotel. We had a wonderful time. Stay here!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was right on the water and close to the Sant Angelo water taxi stop. The hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious. We ate the breakfast provided at the hotel and the quality was good and a wide selection. I would recommend this hotel.

The Venezia Palazzo Barocci hotel was convenient, clean and charming. We loved the Murano glass decorations in our room and hallway. Since the hotel is at the St. Angelo vaporetto stop it was very easy to get in and out of the canal. Lastly, the room was huge and modern while still having a charming view and all the room amenities. 5 star hands down.

Stayed here for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it . The location is excellent close to all the main points of interest. Excellent recommendations for eating out came from the hotel staff. Private water taxi to and from the hotel is an absolute must to enhance the whole experience. Not to mention adds to making a quick transfer from airport to hotel. Only down side is the size of the rooms. Although good quality fittings and furnishings they are very tight not to mention noisy if on the ground floor.

This was our first time to Venice and this hotel was great. There is a ferry stop right out front, the staff, bar and breakfast are excellent. We highly recommend this hotel. There are great restaurants and shops within a very short walk of a few minutes.

The hotel is located on the Grand Canal not very far from Rialto Bridge but far from St.Marks'' Square. Its diagonally opposite the hotel where George Clooney stayed during his marriage. Needless to say the location is good, next door to the Water Taxi stop and the hotel has its own jetty for your private taxi though it was closed during my stay. Their are hundreds of narrow lanes behind the hotel completely crowded with shops and restaurants. Its a small hotel at very convenient location with best of Venice has to offer. We had two rooms, one junior suite with terrific views from the room, and another room with a partial view of the canal. Being a junior suite it was a decent size room but with a peculiar design/layout. Bathroom is one the of the smallest with shower and WC. Bath tub is in the room behind the Bed with a partition. Balcony is very small barely one person can stand comfortably. But of course the view is fantastic. I think the hotel is very very expensive maybe because the city itself is expensive. Breakfast, as I think is NH group's speciality, is fantastic. Though breakfast of NH Milano President is I think a shade better.
