The hotel is on the lido, which is an island 10mins boat ride from the main Venice attractions i.e. St Marks Square. Water taxi boat ferries are frequent to St Marks Square from here - the hotel is a 5min walk to the ferry station.[we bought a 3day pass for access to all ferries around Venice]. Getting from airport to hotel is easy - catch the public water taxi (25euros return) direct to Lido, then the 5mins walk along easy footpaths to the hotel. The hotel was comfortable, clean, modern and much cheaper than staying in Venice itself. We had a family room in the loft, which was a good size and very comfortable beds. Only small issue in our room was that the shower over bath was a little low (roof sloped where the bath was) so a decent shower isn't possible. We didn't eat in the hotel (breakfast looked good though) preferring to catch a bite on the main road leading to the ferry station - there's plenty of choice for breakfast, lunch, evening meals and bars here. Would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Venice - family rooms are good size.
We had a bit of trouble finding the hotel, but was really delighted with it when we got to it. We had an attic room 424 a lovely sized room and bathroom. Very clean and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We love a cup of tea at night and the man on the desk was more than happy to make us a good cuppa complete with biscuits that we took up to our room. A nice island to stay on, with a quick 10 mins ride on the waters to st marks. It was equally good at night to leave the tourists behind and get back to the hotel. Will defiantly be visiting this hotel again.
Just over the water to Venice, this is a really lovely hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the decor really modern and clean. We were in a loft room which only has a skylight, but for a few days this is fine, if staying longer would have preferred a window. Location is ideal for the resort of Lido di Venezia, with a street full of good places to eat and grab a very reasonable breakfast if not booked in the hotel, and this give the opportunity to mix with the locals.
This hotel is perhaps a bit hidden but it is very easy to reach and it is very quiet. Easy boat connection to Venice (line 5.1). Compact rooms but very comfortable and rather stylish. Staff is very helpful and willing to go the extra (s)mile. Great price/value.
This is a hotel in an excellent location, neat and clean with extremely friendly staff. Our company was arriving at different times and I had emailed them that the people arriving first are not the ones who made the reservation. I got an instant reply welcoming us and ensuring the check-in will be made smoothly. We stayed for 9 days and I have very little to complain about, maybe only the freshness of the air in the room could be improved.
We stayed here for three nights before starting our cruise to get acclimatized and get our clocks in sync. The nearby (vaporetto) waterbus allowed us to visit the island of Muramo then to San Marco and then get back to the quite relaxed atmosphere of Lido. The hotel offered very good selection of food for breakfast and there were plenty of nearby restaurants and a grocery store to satisfy our other beverage and food needs.
A very modern hotel situated about a 10min walk from the waterbus station on Lido. Very friendly and welcoming reception staff who were always helpful with any queries. Rooms are very modern and beds are comfortable although the rooms are maybe slightly on the small side but more than fine if only staying for a few nights. Modern bathroom with spacious shower and complementary toiletries and hair dryer. Reasonable amount of storage for luggage clothes etc and there is a fridge, TV and safe in the room. A breakfast is available in the hotel at an extra cost The beach is about 5/10mins walk away as well as numerous restaurants. Waterbus takes about 20-30mins depending on route to get from Lido to St Marks Square a daily pass cost 20euro and a 2 day pass is 30euro. Overall a very pleasant and good value hotel compared to those on the main island of Venice
Stayed here for three nights, location great, five minutes walk from water bus. Restaurants just around the corner. Hotel located down very quiet lane so little traffic. Room was fine, clean, no tea or coffee facilities in room, think that's a continental thing. We were in smaller rooms, if we had paid more we could have got bigger one, are choice. Didn't have Breakfast , went to local cafe. Thought cost of hotel breakfast expensive Overall nice hotel, certainly recommend, upgrade to bigger room if you can.
We stayed in a family room - lots of space with a king size double and good size comfy double sofa bed for our children (9year old twins). Fantastic location - 5 mins walk from the water bus stop (vaporetti) and less than 10 mins walk to public (free) beach. Good access to beach without the usual steep hills and many steps. Hotel was really clean and bright, friendly multi-lingual staff. We would happily stay here again.
We stayed here in a family room. The location is great and easy to find from. You have quick access back to the boats to Venice as well as the other lagoon islands. The beech is also close by. Lots of bars, restaurants and shops around you. The welcome at the hotel was great and the two issues we had during our stay quickly felt with. The room was a good size and cleaned well every day. The aircon was very effective and quiet. I would be happy to stay here again.
